It's not that hard to carry a spare battery around is it? Don't need a trailer or anything.
My battery level just read 44% & my IQ was 54.
I unscrewed all the tubes and cap as I was in 18650 mode.
It now reads 64% battery and 84 IQ!
Seems a little sensitive to me.
The extension rings and larger battery will, of course, add more resistance to the circuit of the device...
So seeing a difference between 18650 and smaller modes is to be expected.
Also, as Provari owners know, taking the battery out and then putting it back in, will always give you a little more vape time or "battery life"...this has carried over in the P3, the only difference being we have a new/different way to view it.
Seeing as IQ stands for INPUT QUALITY, the IQ score will change based on the quality of the battery and the charge it has to offer...so to take a battery out at one score, and put it back in to find another score, is normal. So is NOT seeing a change.
If I wanted to be carrying spares all the time I'd go back to a cig-a-like. I went big battery mod + RTA so that I wouldn't need to do that. If I have to backpedal, then there is something fundamentally wrong. I live in a small town area. We don't have traffic problems like that.
I have read parts of this thread regarding batteries, IQ, discharge rates, etc. No matter where I'm headed, I always leave the house with at least one extra battery and some juice. I also take an iStick or 2 with me because they are small. I only checked the IQ to see if my older batteries where, in fact, spent. I got some new batteries. When they die, I change them.
The reason I got the P3 (and the rest of my ProVaris) is simplicity and reliability. I just want to vape and not fuss with stuff too much. The P3 will tell you if there is a problem. I just don't need the details of every moment I vape. But that is just my opinion.
I have extra batteries, a small bottle of juice, a plain 510 atty in my purse when I go out. I don't have much traffic here either, but I have spun out in the snow on the way to the store, been in an accident and was very happy to have the 510 atty with me when a tank snapped off after being dropped - luckily not all on the same day.

I didn't buy a top of the line PV so that I can treat it like a cig-a-like. I know, I'm the crazy one here.Ah yes, the all my eggs in one basket philosophy.![]()
It's not hard. I understand some people like to be cautious, it just shouldn't be considered necessary. THAT is a failure, no matter how you spin it. Like I said before, the reason most people move away from 510 devices is to not need to carry extra batteries all the time. With my original Provari, I've never carried a spare battery in 3 YEARS, except when I was going somewhere overnight.
When I get a P3, I will apparently need to swap in a fresh battery "just in case" before going anywhere, to know that I will have plenty of battery life. I still want a P3, but I'll just ignore the battery percentage altogether and go by how long I've been using a battery.

Not Happy. At All. Everything in my bank says 'PENDING', including a $224 charge from ProVape. So my P3 Order still reads 'Processing'. Somebody needs to put down the Egg Nog, wake up the IT guy and get my Bank out of whatever Turkey Induced Fog they seem to be in.....

Patience Grasshopper, you will be rotating The Precious with your Reos very soon.

I've said before; If and when my VV Grands eventually die (everything manmade does) then I would want to get ProVari for my At-Home devices. And my Eldest VV Grand just gave up on me last night. It's on it's way back to the "Spa", so where's my P3 ? (Thankfully, still a VVG and a Woodvil around)
Damn I just checked and my order still says "Processing" as wellOh well, I will be happy if it ships out on Monday, or even Tuesday.
Although I could have driven to Monroe to pick it up and gotten back home by now![]()

Although ProVape might have been closed. They strike me as a company that might give their employees a 4 day weekend over Thanksgiving.
