Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Not to belabor the point, but I was very happy to find an old cig-a-like in the bottom of my purse when I was in a rollover accident and didn't find my ProVari until the next day. I had other ProVaris at home, but I needed something until I got there.

But... Now that you have the New Provi Naughty Cap... You'll be able to find it (at least read it) even in a rollover accident!

Just a quick report... With a little more than a day with the new P3, I (like most on this thread) am thrilled with the device. I use carto tanks with 3 ohm cartos, so I don't get as much benefit from the boost, but I think I can tell a bit of difference with fresh cartos on both the P2 and the P3. Even with my old eyes, the menu system is easy to read without my reading glasses, and it's easy to navigate at the default speed.

I'm getting an IQ of about 91 with my Panasonic NCR 18650 batteries which seem to be lasting about 22 hours of moderate use. Overall, I'm getting a great vape experience, which is what I've come to expect from ProVape. I set it to 7.6 watts and random button LED colors (I like the novelty for now), and it just does the rest.

And yes, I will be buying another one when they come out with the Gun Metal ZenKote option! :D

I somewhat agree with you there Bronze... but... Some people are just not into rebuilt-ables...

if I may... ... might I suggest the Kanger aerotanks Mega??? they have allowed me to use the boost function and I use them for my all day vapes now. (instead of the cartos.. yes that has started recently so I'm trowing this out of new discovery...) I use the 1.5 dual coils... they come out a little pricier then the cartos, but not much...

I use the KFL at home... but I travel with the Kangers now...

as always... just my 2 cents...

Well, you're right. Some people do not want to mess with rebuilding. At the same time, I can list off numerous people who I thought would never in a million years get into rebuilding and they did. And are having a blast doing it. So it's worth throwing out the notion if to do nothing more than plant a seed. Rebuildables takes vaping to a whole other level and it's nice to see people get to that level and enjoy it.

Although I enjoyed the hell out of my clearomizers for over a year, nothing wrong with them.

I'm on a Lemo now, and I can't see going back (even given the greatness of the Nautilus BVCs). Whatever makes you happy...I keep seeing people saying 'it's great to have choices in vaping' and it's so true.

So I've had my P3 for a few days now and I've noticed my brand new AW 18650 batteries even when fully charged show up at 75% when I put them in my Provari....anyone else seeing that happen? I have 2 batteries and so far it's done it to both....
How's your iq? I find often that my iq will drop and my battery percentage will be low, so I unscrew the cap, screw it back in, iq jumps back to 91 or so and battery % goes way back up

No! Don't suggest the leaky, poorly performing Aerotanks! Everyone I know, has immediately switched to a Nautilus after trying mine...
I'm a Kayfun user, but I've got a Nautilus cuz I had to see what the fuss was about...and I was impressed!

With my original Provari, I've never carried a spare battery in 3 YEARS, except when I was going somewhere overnight.

When I get a P3, I will apparently need to swap in a fresh battery "just in case" before going anywhere, to know that I will have plenty of battery life. I still want a P3, but I'll just ignore the battery percentage altogether and go by how long I've been using a battery.

I didn't buy a top of the line PV so that I can treat it like a cig-a-like. I know, I'm the crazy one here.

Just vape it like your v2 or v2.5...
It's seriously NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL.
All these fussy-fussies, worrying about their battery meter and IQ scores...
The P3 vapes as well as the previous model, at the VERY least.
You will not need to carry extra batteries...

Look at it this way...
Your friend finally admits to you how silly you look in your favorite shirt...and then you get self conscious about it...
Has your appearance ACTUALLY changed? No. You look the same in the shirt as you did before your friend said anything...the only difference is how you FEEL.

That's the battery gauge. You're gonna get the same performance, if not better, from your device. Except now you'll have a live percentage gauge on the charge remaining, and an IQ score to reflect the quality of your battery and cleanliness of your threads and battery contacts...

The P3 is the same as previous models. The difference is now we (the users) get a better look into what's going on during use...something the v2/2.5's didn't do.

Your light doesn't blink when the battery needs to be changed? Mine does. I have the display off, but the firing button on. My button is set on aqua, but when it needs to be changed the button blinks red. The only ProVari I have that doesn't blink is the Stealth.

ETA: Perhaps I stand corrected. When the battery blinked I changed it, I didn't continue to vape it, so I don't know if the blink meant it was completely dead, which seems to be what others are saying.

I was just referring to the "warning" blinks on the v2.5's...the P3 only has "it's dead" blinks...

I was surprised to not have warning blinks...
It took me a second to realize what was happening, the first time a battery died in my P3...
I kept trying to vape, cuz I knew I hadn't seen a blinking light, and I wasn't used to looking at the battery meter...

And herein lies my questions about IQ. Let's say I start the day with a fresh battery fully charged. Take a vape and check IQ. It's likely going to be 90. I'll vape for a few hours and then want to see what if any change there is in IQ and it might read 84. If I unscrew the end cap a turn maybe two, but not enough to interrupt the connection to the battery and then screw it back and check IQ, IQ will all of the sudden jump to 91 regardless of how much the battery meter says is left. How can IQ change so much simply by unscrewing the end cap a turn and then tightening it back? I said on a page far back, that Provape might end up regretting they added IQ to begin with!

Again, it doesn't affect my vaping experience in any way. It's a Provari through and through and the first vape on my P3 with a fully charged battery is as great as the last vape on my P3 with a greatly depleted battery. But this IQ thingy has me perplexed. I know I shouldn't care. But I do.............

Rybrylawdude...just ignore the IQ until you feel it vape differently...
Seriously...you're gonna drive yourself crazy worrying about something that doesn't even matter, unless you're below a 60 IQ...which it sounds like you're far from!!!
Take a deep breath, then a long vape, and relax!
It's all good! Yes it is!

I agree, I think people are over-thinking it. I just check it occasionally to see if it's no longer GREAT (hasn't happened yet). I don't care if it fluctuates a few points within the GREAT status...it hasn't affected my vape quality in the least..

The same with the battery gauge...if I'm reading 20%, I know I have about a couple of hours worth of vaping left based on my experience. Granted, I'm mainly using one Atty now so I'm in rhythm with it. I suppose, in theory, they should be able to add the ability to display how many puffs you have left, based on the same monitoring system no?

I do agree that it would be nice if the red warning button would flash before it dies...maybe at 5% as a heads up....but I'm not loosing sleep over it.
