All that's on that Key is the PDF manual that is online, and it just says adjustable 510 :\
But I did put an atty on that caused the pin to go down so much I had to wiggle it up again.

I'm just wondering if when I squash the 510 down, am I risking damaging anything other than the O ring!

Damaging a ProVari?

Anyone ever use Dielectric grease? I know they use on car battery terminals for better connections and as an anti corrosive lube

Sir Rod, Master of Lube recommends you use No-Ox, because it's what Provape recommends and we do as Provape suggests...........

You ought to fire it to get a red light. Would be interesting to know if it would shut down and quit flashing at a predetermined point, or continue past what would be considered a safe minimum for the battery. The down side is you would be playing Chinese roulette with your Efest.

No worries...

I am in this one for at least a week or 2 or 3.

Lets see what happens.

What's Chinese Roulette? Is it when you get a gun off FT, fully load it and then pass it around to see if it will actually fire?

So I have a ProVari mini 2.5 currently with an aspire nautilus mini tank sitting on top. Love the aspire.

With the recent public release of the P3 I have been itching to buy but I can't really fund that right now.

So I am stuck with my V2.5 and the aspire atlantis is looking like a pretty sweet clearo. I have no sub ohm experience but I want that tank bad. I know the 2.5 wont run on .5 ohms or .7 ohms which are the only two resistances available for the atlantis. What is my best course of action here? I do want to be able to blow big clouds sometimes, and I would keep the nautilus for when I don't want to. I also don't know much about mechanical mods but I don't really want to go down that road. I want to keep the ProVari quality but still be able to use the atlantis. Someone steer me in the right direction here.

I don't think of myself as "stuck" with 2.5s. I have several and they are my treasures. Personally, I only got the P3 out of curiosity, and while the boost feature is nice, the device is overkill for my style of vaping - resistances around 1.2 to 2.5 ohms, depending on the juice. I tried the P3 at 20 watts, just to say I could, but my favorite juice tasted like crap.

The P3 isn't designed for the Atlantis. From what I understand the Atlantis really shines over 30 watts and the P3's limit is 20. If you have your heart set on an Atlantis, you need to be looking at devices with higher watt limits. Be advised that the Atlantis is too much for mouth-to-lung vaping, it's for direct lung.

Is it clouds you want or do you just want to sub-ohm? A 2.5 can fire a 0.9Ω coil and a high ratio of vg in your juice can make nice sized clouds. Not competition sized, but pretty and fluffy. ;)

This is a 2.5 at about 1.5Ω and the juice is 70pg/30vg. They would be bigger with higher vg.

Thanks for your input. I currently am vaping 1.8 ohms with perfection vapes reduced pg blend. I don't care about sub ohming, I more so care about clouds. I am pretty satisfied with the clouds I can blow sometimes, but I do wish they could be a little bigger. Also I should probably mention that when I vape 1.6 ohm coils in my nautilus and turn down my voltage a little bit to around 3.6-3.8 volts it vapes a little too hot for me and burns the throat a bit too much for my liking. (I prefer little throat hit.) But if I turn my voltage down any lower than 3.6 my clouds are far too small for what I am looking for. I know I can't have everything, but I just want slightly bigger clouds.

Also it should be noted I am not interested at all in rebuilding.

Thanks again for your input ocelot.

Agree with Ocelot. If you want clouds, build a 1.2ohm coil with 26-28ga wire, and fire it at 4.1v. That will ride just inside the amp(3.5) and wattage(14.5) limits of the Provari. With 70-80% or higher VG it will make some respectable clouds.

EDIT: Just saw you aren't interested in rebuilding.
