I'm not really a fan of the nautilus, mainly because I'm a little reluctant about the wicking material in the BVC's (which is why I have a brand new full-sized Nautilus with BVC's that I received as a gift just sitting in the box :facepalm:), but I figured some of the members here might be interested in this :)

I'm not concerned about the material in the wicking material. It stays 100% saturated with juice, so it really can't be inhaled. There have been many many tests and they've made me feel very safe using them. I like the BVC coils because they work better than any coil I've ever used.

Here's a link to a pretty thorough breakdown on the Nautilus System: http://www.thexlab.com/vaping/aspire_nautilus_observations.html

And let's be realistic. There are diseases associate with Cotton in the Lung, so maybe everyone should also be concerned about cotton wicking? The truth is nothing is 100% safe. But then we all smoked cigarettes, which we all know are terribly unsafe.

I guess to be honest the wicking material is just my excuse for not trying them, as I would probably really like them, and then I would have to pay the $2-$3 per coil :lol: Of course if for some reason my KFL+ doesn't work out I will probably try out the Nautilus.

I am also reluctant to try cotton :lol: which is why I'm planning to use silica in my KFL+ (in fact I have a coil wrapped and wicked with silica already in it, I'm just waiting for my CK P3 :)). Of course if I end up not liking the silica I will probably at least try cotton.

ETA - I just noticed the link I posted wasn't working, I've edited my previous post to fix it, but here it is again:

You can find them cheaper, G-Man. If you're ever interested, feel free...

They're REALLY good. :D

That's fair. But if you're really really really concerned about safety, I'd not be much of a friend if I didn't point out that Silica is likely no safer than any other wicking material. In fact Silica is also known for lung diseases. Maybe you'd better not google silicosis :facepalm:

I say this because for some reason, you chose the BVC as something you felt needed to be pointed out as likely harmful. The truth is that because these wicking materials are all fully saturated when we use them to vape with, none are very likely going to be transmitted to our lungs.

Vape on!

That works ;) :laugh:

You mean to tell me you censor the pronoun "...."? I know a lot of people named ...., and I happen to think it's funny when 2 or 3 of them are in the same room because I can then cheerily point out that there sure are a lot of *icks in the room. LOL

:?::confused::facepalm:

Please watch your language there, PeterC.

In all seriousness, I must politely point out that I did not make the name, and the primary reason why I use my middle name is because my first name *is* "Richard", and I was called .... as a kid. What I honestly could never figure out, is how you get .... out of 'Richard' anyway? No one I know named "Connie", or "Constance" has their nickname "...." - see?
