Insert a full battery, good or crappy - IQ 99 most times. Put an atty on - IQ drops depending on the battery, even as low as 67...

I will do my best to make this the last IQ post of my boring life checking P3 IQ's. IQ 78, changed atty IQ 78, no atty IQ 78. Without any atty the only change is volts reads 6.0 and for atty ??,

All I care about is how well it works and the BooST feature which is a dream come true.

To my friend DPLongo22 there is no way on earth you are not going to break down and order a P3. Take that naughty of yours and set the BooST to 2 and your vaping life will change.

At this moment I have the crappy Tensai 18500 battery in, at 53% - IQ68.
Unscrewed atty (Naughty Mini) - IQ68.
Removed cap, attached cap - IQ99.
Attached atty. Without firing - IQ68.
After firing - IQ68.
What did I want to prove with that.....

Whereas I've understood that it monitors everything available TO the atomizer...from center pin to board connection, all the way through to the spring & cap connection.

Where are our helpful little data-mining post finding bloodhounds? Because Vape360 laid it out in plain English, somewhere far back in this thread...I'm just no good at hunting stuff down like that...

Same test,

with a charged, few days in the drawer Sony VTC4 18650:

Put battery in - IQ99.
Atty on, without firing - IQ94.
Atty on, after firing - IQ94.
Battery at 99%.

with a charged, few days in the drawer AW 18350 800mah:

Put battery in - IQ99.
Atty on, without firing - IQ86.
Atty on, after firing - IQ87.
Battery at 95%.

No no, it's ok, i'm not too concerned about the IQ, i just take it as a battery and connection checker. I havent cleaned my device since I got it, so the IQ makes sense.

An update to V36, I would advise.

It's only from the window down that you want to clean. The 510 connection and tank do not affect the IQ.

IQ is for input quality so it's only looking at: the spring, the battery, the threads at the bottom, the contact pin inside where the battery positive meets with the circuit board etc. You can use this tool to narrow down the issue. Try different batteries, try a 18350 without rings etc.

It will work out. The P3 works fine.

About the update - send the device to ProVape, I assume?
Is there a changelog? Will google, but maybe you already know.
