Official ProVari 3 Thread - P3

Another thing I don't understand and I'd like a Provape official to answer this one.....


1. Provape wants the P3 to be perfect. I get that.
2. B&M's have the beta P3 for testing & research purposes. I get that.
3. Provape is having a sweepstakes for a P3 starter kit ending in roughly 5 days. I get that.

Now my question is, when the winner in announced for the sweepstakes, is that person gonna have to wait until any upgrades, improvements, or recommendations from the B&M's are incorporated into the P3. Or will they receive a P3 as it is as of now?

Oooooooooh...that's a good one.

My only guess would be:
Provape might have been using the Beta for many, many moons, before even the announcement of the P3. When they, as a company, decided that it was as good as it was gonna get, they sent it out to the real world...to see if anyone else could find something wrong with it.
However, knowing what Provape does in regards to testing and whatnot, they probably made the Betas as close to perfect as possible...meaning the B&M testers won't find anything WRONG with it...henceforth, no changes will be made.
Now, I'm not saying the people with Betas won't find anything they don't LIKE about the P3...I'm just saying that they will find the Betas to work precisely as Provape has described.

Notice anything? Watch carefully starting at 1:23? See the bench? The color of ?? Keep watching for another single cameo appearance shortly after. I was asked to query the mother ship directly. I'm following instructions while still trying to suppress my "fanboy" tendency's for my Varis, or is it my REO, or is it my rDNA.

There's a p3 being tested on the bench shortly after 1:23. Then later they show a box of p3 tubes. I assume that's what he means.

I assumed they were talking about the red "guide lights" on the Provari tops right after the Dragon Provari, because me mentioned the "mothership", but I honestly don't know what they are referring to either.

Those are both clearly Betas...and I don't see them making Betas in a different color for any reason...

Just looks like a variation in the lighting to me.

Am I the only one who likes the beta engraving better than the "official release" tube? Those diamonds look grippy.

Edit: If I had a beta unit, I would take it to a gunsmith and have them checker the diamonds. (Yeah, I know. I just killed any chance of getting a beta unit for myself).

Nope... I like the look of the diamonds on the side as well. Adds a bit of flare that I think is missing in it's regular form. I mean, for years we've had grooves, tear drops, crop circles, and heck even DRAGONS...

Where is the flare? Just looks a bit plain right now...

I refuse to support flippers. Though I am curious as to what the final eBay selling price will be. Probably $500-600. (If ProVape doesn't send eBay a request to delist that ProVari).

The two beta's on the bench are different colors... One satin silver, and the other looks like a bronze? Anyway, Just because they won't be part of the initial production build, doesn't mean they aren't testing out some different colored tubes.

They are probably making literally THOUSANDS of P3's right now... It's a lot easier to keep up with initial demand if they have them all built the same. I would also assume, based on current pricing, that this will be their lowest entry point for a P3. Another assumption on my part is that the Satin Silver, being the lowest price point, is probably the best selling ProVari model.

It makes sense to me... Pump out a boat load of your expected best seller, and then make smaller batches of other colors, starting with the second best seller and move on from there. Car companies do the same thing when they are releasing a new model. Pump out a ton of white and black, and move on from there.

Good stuff, I threw a bid on it just to be able to watch the show,LOL. That didn't take long...also poked around a bit looking at ProVari auctions. Is it just me or does it seem that the starting prices have dropped quite a bit lately on used models? Maybe it's just because I am not seriously looking at the moment.

I was really starting to think I was seeing two different colored tubes on the video...
I mean, that's totally possible too, but I think this is the more likely scenario.
