The iPhone may not be the "right" phone for everyone (though it is for me) just as the P3 may not be the "right" regulated mod for everyone (though I expect it will be for me).

The power of the consumer is you open your wallet for what you think will best meet your needs.

First of all, my feelings are no business of yours. And even if a conversation like this were capable of "hurting my feelings", I certainly wouldn't cry about it over the internet.
If I could even make sense of the majority of what you wrote, I'd still choose not to argue, as I've already made my opinion clear that this is not the thread for this discussion.
I never said you didn't have any right to express your feelings, or opinions, and I didn't say this isn't a public forum. I simply stated my opinion that this isn't the thread for that. Because that's what this is. ONE THREAD on a giant FORUM. There are plenty of other threads for debating how you feel. This THREAD was started by Provape, to announce and give news on the P3. Not to debate why it does or doesn't do certain things, or explain why you don't want one.

I'm sorry you've had the experience you've had with Provape, but you certainly cannot speak for everyone. I've contacted Provape numerous times, both here, and through their website...I've always gotten a friendly, prompt, and informative response...

I'm also sorry that the P3 doesn't offer you what you want. Luckily, there is a whole vaping industry out there, eager to earn your money. Maybe someone else can satisfy your needs.
It is my OPINION that owning a P3 "in hopes of an update" is not "a gamble"...
As you said you've been reading this THREAD, you may have noticed that Vape360 (Provape themselves) has already announced some fairly substantial updates to the production model software, before they're even being released. Those updates are based on customer demand. That customer demand comes from not only the ECF, but also from the real world Beta testing...when was the last time you heard of a company caring enough to offer a Beta test to it's retailers/customers? If that doesn't show you that they care what you think, I don't know what does.
Provape is the safest company in the industry, and nobody can say anything to make them change their ways. And that's a good thing. They're doing something that no other vape company does. They are making 150% sure that their product will not only perform, stand the test of time, and keep people off cigarettes, but that they will be absolutely safe while doing so.
Compared to Provape safety standards, every other mod maker (with these higher limits you crave) could just be getting lucky with their specs.
I'm sure Provape is on its way to these higher device output limits, but they're taking it slow, and making absolutely sure that their device is safe while doing so.
I know there are millions of people using +20 Watt/+15 Amp devices out there...and that's fine! But, having seen their process, and knowing their track record, I would rather wait for Provape to make a device that does those things...because then I will know that it is unfailingly safe to use...and that's what it comes down to.
TRUST.
Maybe Provape isn't banging out the high watt/amp levels...but what they do produce is a device that is SAFE.
And when they feel that they can make a device with those higher limits, and do it as safely as they have with all their other devices, I'll gladly get in line to buy one.
Wow... I can't even begin to bore the between world with a response to all of that.

I will; however, stand by my stance on the product; and, belief that this IS EXACTLY THE PLACE TO DISCUSS THE PRODUCT.
Everything I have said on THE OFFICIAL P3 THREAD. Is about the p3 and it's abilities or lack of abilities.
How is this the wrong place?

So I should spend 250 on a device and hope they can make it competive with a dna40?
Or at least a dna30?

How is that smart?

Ok....I will have two DNA 40 devices at the end of this month and yet I will still buy a P3....Why? Am I dumb, lol not so much...here are my reasons....

Even on the DNA with temp set to not burn cotton wick...400 degrees, as I watch the watts...I never peak past 10, even though I have it set to peak at 30....which means my build does not require anything close to 30...Ok...love love love the DNA 40 mod btw...

There are things I want from the Provari 3.

Can adjust battery sizes
Provape quality
Provape support
I like rod mods
Battery quality checking
Adaptive connection
And the ability to update for future enhancements

I just love Provaris...they never let me down...

Now, in all honesty if I had to choose one mod only at this stage of my vaping development, it would be a hard choice to make.

I do think constructive feedback will be helpful to Provape, as long as it isn't couched as a holy war.

A person's vape gear choice is unique and personal....everyone can and should feel great about the choices they make...whatever makes you happy and keeps you vaping is a great choice.

Since I am not limited to only one mod....I am looking forward to the web release.

Jealous of your double DNA... Lmao !!!!
I'm not trying to make this a holy war...I'm comparing two products at their abilities and what they delivered for the price.
At the same time I've been fairly good, I think at giving provape the props they deserve.
still don't see where I've lobbed an insult to warrant the backlash or said anything untrue.

Wow
Within the Limits.
250.00 for a "temp control " that's not really temp control, 5.5 Amps, 20w , a board that would have been Great in 2012 And i should build "within the limits" or 200 for a device that's In the now and is just as safe with very few limits 16amp and 40watts?
Hmmmm this is difficult.
It's not a cloud thing for some of us, I don't care if I make clouds. I don't want apple-esque limits. If the device can handle "X" and I'm paying for it, I should get "X" when I want it.
Not trying to argue trying to make a point. My brain hurts. how a company that prides itself on aerospace technology put out a product that would have been changed vaping two years ago instead it's like a repackaged evic supreme. the P2.5 was vape changing , for Its time what happened? I have two of them so I'm not in here as a hater I'm in here as a once loyal customer that hates watching provape go the way of the blackberry. They could have very easily, with a few lines of code, made this device what It should be and garnered many more buyers and not had several of us who own the 2.5 face palm ourselves and go get a new device that we CAN ACTUALLY ORDER and VAPE THE WAY (THE USER) WANTS TO.
then again Gerber doesn't make food for adults. - for the record this non-cloud chasing vaper is not suggesting an insane 10000 Watt device but rather SOMETHING COMPETITIVE WITH EVOLV AT LEAST. Shoot even the 30w with 10 amp limit from last year edge on the competition geeze.
again I've never been one to come down on what someone wants to spend their money on, no one is forcing me to buy this, therefore I won't. But when I know SEVERAL people who are now FORMER provape loyalists, solely because of the failure of this device to deliver what we expected, one can't help but wonder.

Leaving room
Well said!!!!

Guys.....can we not name call and fuss in this thread please? My report finger is getting itchy...Lol

Feel the love...you are both making valid points. And you both appear to feel insulted...and I would guess that in your heart of hearts, neither wants to insult anyone.

Can we accept differences of opinion?

I can't wait to see the enhancements btw...

I love Provari power management...always have....one 4.2 volt battery runs so very smoothly....that algorithm.....mmmmm....it has always rocked my world. I can't imagine what kind of monstrously good experience could come from a collaboration.....

Will be interesting to see where this goes because the algorithms are aimed at different things...

For those of us that cannot benefit from the features of the DNA40 (i.e. sensitivity to the nickel in the nicrome wire that is requires), the P3 has all the features I want/need. I really don't need to justify my decision to anyone, but yes, I have one on the way, and am done buying devices for quite some time.
