Struggling to organize the thoughts here....
Buy it and hope theY update it?... that's smart.
Blackberry was once the biggest company for mobile communication devices. Have you seen what's happened to them?
Did you also see where I expressed concern for the companies direction ?
Have you ever tried to contact them?
Have you noticed the hint that was spelled out?
Did you know this was a public forum?
Have you considered that Maybe.... just Maybe... this public forum could be used to express ones feelings about a product. Or possibly offer easy, low cost solutions for the mfg of a product that might just earn them more money? or i dont know maybe since they don't actually SPEAK to their customers; yet, they read ecf (first hand experience) maybe by being the voice of reason for some of the turned off customers they may actually make it a DESIRABLE PRODUCT FOR MORE PEOPLE.
I didnt say anything that was untrue. Nor did i BASH provape. I compared the products abilities to other products in its price bracket and pointed out the shortcomings of the P3.
I HAVE THAT RIGHT. i also said if its what someone wants to buy so be it. Did I call you or anyone a fanboy? Did I even reference the term fanboy?
Is it Ok to express what someone who buys Mods thinks and blessed they make their comparison. Shopping?
You may not like my response and for that im sorry that your feelings are hurt. But if provape doesnt know there is a demand for something and they are turning off customers then they wont change anything.
"Most capable device ever"??? The entire point of my post.....
First of all, my feelings are none business of yours. And even if a conversation like this were capable of "hurting my feelings", I certainly wouldn't cry about it over the internet.
If I could even make sense of the majority of what you wrote, I'd still choose not to argue, as I've already made my opinion clear that this is not the thread for this discussion.
I never said you didn't have any right to express your feelings, or opinions, and I didn't say this isn't a public forum. I simply stated my opinion that this isn't the thread for that. Because that's what this is. ONE THREAD on a giant FORUM. There are plenty of other threads for debating how you feel. This THREAD was started by Provape, to announce and give news on the P3. Not to debate why it does or doesn't do certain things, or explain why you don't want one.
I'm sorry you've had the experience you've had with Provape, but you certainly cannot speak for everyone. I've contacted Provape numerous times, both here, and through their website...I've always gotten a friendly, prompt, and informative response...
I'm also sorry that the P3 doesn't offer you what you want. Luckily, there is a whole vaping industry out there, eager to earn your money. Maybe someone else can satisfy your needs.
It is my OPINION that owning a P3 "in hopes of an update" is not "a gamble"...
As you said you've been reading this THREAD, you may have noticed that Vape360 (Provape themselves) has already announced some fairly substantial updates to the production model software, before they're even being released. Those updates are based on customer demand. That customer demand comes from not only the ECF, but also from the real world Beta testing...when was the last time you heard of a company caring enough to offer a Beta test to it's retailers/customers? If that doesn't show you that they care what you think, I don't know what does.
Provape is the safest company in the industry, and nobody can say anything to make them change their ways. And that's a good thing. They're doing something that no other vape company does. They are making 150% sure that their product will not only perform, stand the test of time, and keep people off cigarettes, but that they will be absolutely safe while doing so.
Compared to Provape safety standards, every other mod maker (with these higher limits you crave) could just be getting lucky with their specs.
I'm sure Provape is on its way to these higher device output limits, but they're taking it slow, and making absolutely sure that their device is safe while doing so.
I know there are millions of people using +20 Watt/+15 Amp devices out there...and that's fine! But, having seen their process, and knowing their track record, I would rather wait for Provape to make a device that does those things...because then I will know that it is unfailingly safe to use...and that's what it comes down to.
TRUST.
Maybe Provape isn't banging out the high watt/amp levels...but what they do produce is a device that is SAFE.
And when they feel that they can make a device with those higher limits, and do it as safely as they have with all their other devices, I'll gladly get in line to buy one.
