As a follow up to this, do we register our new P3's on the ProVape site so we're notified when software updates will be available? Or do we just check the site to know about updates?
Good Question!

Woot!!! Sun vapors in San Diego just called me to say my p3 is in!!! Since we just left San Diego to spend the winter in Phoenix they are mailing it to me ASAP. What a great beginning to the holiday season-- new iPhone 6 plus last month and a p3 this month!
Now the big question-- should I spring for a Silo or will my Nautilus tank (mini or regular) do the job ok? How much of a difference between these two tanks (with BVC coils of course) is there on a P3? I've never used any Provari before and I've been vaping a N mini on a MVP 2. I am thankful for any help.

Ps: time to change the Avatar. Somehow that stinky cigar just doesn't quite work on an e-cigarette forum!![]()

I've looked at both Silo and Nautilus in person, and exploded views of both on paper...
I honestly don't understand what "you people" are experiencing...
For all intents and purposes, they are the same thing...
And if you're using the same BVCs in them, I don't know how anyone is experiencing any difference...
Now, if we were comparing one of the two to the Kanger Aerotank Mega, then I'd understand. Even though they are all basically the same thing, the Aerotank Mega and the new Kanger coils are vastly inferior...
I know this is the P3 thread, so there's one mention...another mention would be:
The Nautilus looks fantastic on the P3...especially in 18350 mode...helps take some length out of the beastly long Nautilus!

Agreed... But sometimes, all it takes is looks for some.
Yes, they look the same internally and yes, with a BVC Coil, they should pretty much do the exact same thing. But trust me when I say there really is a difference. Why? I simply don't know, but there really is a difference. Honest.
Congrats! I got the iPhone 6 last month too and my P3 today! You can use either Nautilus or Silo. They'll both work great. I personally like my full size Silo over my Nauty, but maybe that's just me. My Silo just seems to work better. It produces great taste and juice lasts longer in the Silo than in my Nautilus. Either one however, will work wonderfully on a P3.

I figured it out...
It has to do with the bore of the drip tip.
The Silo includes two different tips. Don't believe me, try out different tips on your Naughty. You'll see.
Jim
It may be that, or the fact the Silo also has a larger air hole than the Nautilus. Whatever it is, it provides, at least to me, a more satisfying vape and as I mentioned earlier, juice goes further with the Silo too.
Nice Avi update!!!
I drilled my Naughties air holes out.
But, I just tried 4 tips, and the difference from the stock tip is noticeable.
Congrats on your P3 by the way!

Well, with more airflow, you get less juice...and vice versa...so that might explain the low juice usage...
I do agree, the Silo is a much better looking device. The Nautilus is a bit dated looking, with the knurled base, and funky AFC ring...and the threaded glass...ugh...I mean, it's neat looking...kinda steampunk...but the Silo and Aerotank are more modern/futuristic looking.
