Got a reply back from the email I sent to provape. Said that they are supposed to come with the 18650 tube. Both my buddy and I purchased one from the shop today, separately. We both went back together and the moment we walked through the door, without us even saying anything the woman ran to the back and grabbed is the rings and handed them to us. I suspect they may have received a call from provape and figured their stuff out real quick. Begs the question though: how or why did the tubes get removed in the first place? Not sure if I'll be shopping there anymore lol, but I got my p3 and my extension tube and I'm a happy camper now. P3+silo with the 18650 tube looks like a dang baseball bat though, it's huge! Been using 350 mode lately, but I blow through those super fast. 490 will probably be my usual

I would not be dealing with those people again.

I paid 270 for beta few days ago. I paid a few bucks more for impatience + convenience as I do not like to shop at b&m.. Tax on 270 would leave a bad 1st puff, fortunately I was able to avoid that.

PS Those rings are matched at Provape to each device. At least mine were.

Well, I spent a bit more because I didn't want to wait. Thank you all for the info and help. I love this mod, the tactile feel of the tube, the soft click button...knowing where it is made and the reputation if the company behind it. I love it.

I started with a vision spinner, unsatisfied, I went to a ZNA 30 watt mod I still have, read and read info on here and decided I wanted a Provari. I love this thing, so much that I have to have a mini now too. I also want to try different rba attatchments. I guess I am hooked.

I like it, but it is very very heavy as I have the full SS mod. It's shape too, much better suited for home use even with the short tube.

So...I'm noticing the same situation with mine. I also have little metal flakes in that area - my contact pin does not appear to be thinner (though I'm not sure I understand what that means....I thought they were solid brass, not plated) Anyway - I discovered that it is not the P3 that is flaking apart - it's my (legit) Kayfun Lite Plus (2nd batch). This same Kayfun DID scratch up my brass contact pin in my Provari 2.5. The cutout on the center pin of the Kayfun for the screw driver to fit is very, very, very sharp and kind of rough. Like it just wasn't sanded down well enough before leaving the factory. I got it from Vaperev, so I'm assuming it was legit as described by them. I do have a dremel, but I'm just not sure that I want to mess with that. I feel like it would come out terribly uneven. I *could* also just buy a replacement for it.....but who's to know that the replacement pin would be any better?

Check with you guys, is this normal? The Center Contact Pin seem to be scratched and it looks like it's getting thinner.

Careful on the KayFun though as it moves the build deck when you tighten or loosen the pin screw. I usually hold the build deck with some jewelry pliers while adjusting the pin on the Original KFL+ v.2

IMO the P3 Beta Exterior is the BEST P3 design. The Diamonds are Forever Version. But...

I do appreciate beauty that is more than skin deep from time to time. And...

With all of that being said, it is time for an update for my Beta P3.

So, I emailed Provape yesterday morning. Received an answer and instructions yesterday afternoon. I kissed her Goodbye, Wished her luck, Boxed her up, and Sent her to Provape School for a lil learnin.

I sent her two Red Headed Step Brothers along to keep her safe. They will be getting a spa treatment as well.

I miss her so... All I have to keep me company are my 2 Ti Provi, and a PV-1. TEAR...

FYI, I am using my P3 in in 18490 size. I purchased this am at 9:01 as the b&m opened at 9 lol, installed the new AW 1200 mah 18490 and am still at 34%. I would be well into the second battery bar with my other mod, the Provari seems much more efficient.
