It only takes minutes all done by hand. Tape off what you dont want polished and polish away with little bit of mothers..

Does anyone here have the Satin Silver P3 and a matte (not polished) Russian or Russian 91% ? I am curious how similar the finishes are, or whether they clash together.

I found some pics online, but they don't seem to be too accurate due to lighting conditions or image quality.

Here you go pal, P3B with gen keyfun lite plus & gen russian 91% v2

In real life the kayfun looks better... It's also a better vape too !

Recommended to me by Baditude himself.
His recommendation is what led me to pull the trigger on the PD's

It's much appreciated!

I had issues in the past with the KFL leaking out of the airflow hole, and the slight whistling mine made was getting tiring - two main reasons I was looking into the Russian so much. I think I may pop the KFL onto my P3, and then try out a new black Russian 91% v2 on my matte black Provari 2.5...

I can't wait that long, so I'm just going to try these (new version):

AW IMR 18650 2200 mAh

I wish AW had batteries made to their specifications...not just re-wrap batteries that they test and approve.
Still, the 20amp is nice to see!
I'm looking forward to the advancement of battery technology to the point that we'll have high capacity 18350's, that are safe. Imagine the power of the strongest 18650 currently on the market, and then imagine if it was safely crammed into the size of an 18350...oh baby.

I have a few vtc5s, laying around, authentic ones too. If I'm going to run 18650 mode, I'll use those for the higher capacity. I don't really plan on using it in 18650 mode much though

Yeah I've finally got a Provari I can use in 18350 mode! My v2.5's would suck the juice out of a 350 in less than a day. My P3 let's me get 1.5 days...I love it.

Steal away!! LOL..
I just polished the top ring, bottom cap, and touched up the diamonds once more..:2cool:
I used a dremel with the polishing ball it comes with, now its a mirror finish.
The night pic does no justice.. The diamonds now shines the way it should..

Do you also use it for the dragon?

Mine has a lot of little scratches on it from rubbing against other mods and I want it nice again!

I got my P3 on Saturday and I've been using it and inspecting it al weekend. Since Provape has such good QC, thought I would go over the device with a very critical eye. I find no blemish on the finish and it seems to be superbly well crafted. However, I did find one item that I have a question about for the release version of the P3. Looking at the attached photo, you will notice the "p3" in the small hexigon, the etching for "p3" is much shallower than the surrounding hexigon or the "Provari 3" wording. Has anyone else noticed this on the the release units? The closeups of a couple of beta unit photos I've seen seem to be etched deeper. I know it's a small thing but wondering if this is typical or unique to my P3.

Yes, yes you do! But to answer your question the engraving you're referring to looks exactly as it does on mine and is not as deep as the larger hexagon's.
