As for tanks, there are a number of tank makers releasing a P3 threaded tank soon. They have asked us not to say anything until they are ready to plan their launch and have parts stocked up but we have seen and tested them and they all look great!

We will keep you updated as we can release the info.

Poll: Which tanks do you all want to see with a P3 thread?

All of Them!!!

Something like this?

be1820439c0686f4f1fe4193546d5ccc.jpg

The top looks way better!
But the bottom still looks too "dated" for me...
Kanger got the look right with their Aerotank Mega...smooth, sleek, no knurling or ribbed metal...too bad the Aerotank line is a joke, compared to the fame of their Protank series...

Have to agree with that. I keep trying to figure out how to combine my Aerotank Mega bottom with my Silo top and glass (and use BVC heads as well).

Hi Juggernaut

Using a penny to tighten the connection should solve this one. We put some handy coin slots on the top of the connector to assist. :)

Not sure I get the point of P3 threading. My Kayfun already sits flush on the 510 theading just fine.

It's not about sitting flush. That's what the floating pin it for. That having been said a P3 threaded atomizer would sit flush and have the overall device be slightly shorter(although not much).

P3 threading is much stronger simply because of it's size. The 510 connector is the weak point on an atomizer(aside from glass/plastic tanks). A P3 threaded atomizer on a P3 threaded device will be hybrid-esque in it's overall strength.

Flush as in diameter 22 vs 23. I think that's the point.

For me, it's just not enough for me to buy new atty's to replacer ones that already work. Just my opinion.

I took a picture with a better camera. Here it is posted below. At this point I'm guessing this is a slight difference between the betas and the release units. I'm going to send the photo to Provape and see what they say. It clearly does not effect the operation or function of the P3, I'm just curious if maybe I got a blew by mistake, (even the best QC in the world can't catch everything) or did they make an some kind of adjustment with the production tubes.

Provape has responded to me and and stated "there can be a slight variance in the tubes between production runs as part of the normal production process." However, they also stated that they want me to be happy so I can return my P3 and they'd take care of it. It appears to more than slight to me as I have gone back and looked at the Provape P3 introduction video and the SMALL hexagon and P3 logo is most certainly cut deeper on the device in the video. Also others pictures I have seen more defined than my unit as well. I think the CNC tool was probably due for replacement when my tube was cut. I probably will send it in but not right away since its so new and I am really enjoying my new device. It's a very small issue I know, but now that I have spotted it, my eye always seems to see it now. Wish I had a loaner while my baby goes home for a touch up!

Since it's clear it will bother you (it probably would me too!), you should definitely send it back and let them replace it.

Welcome to Aspireland where "pro vapor cloud chasers" run a .5 ohm coil on their 30W clone.

Thankfully, Provape has engineered the P3 to shut down if it encounters such an unsafe electrical load.

Daaammmnnn...

That is some USA wire inside Bro

Clouds be puffin all around.

Chasers won't give this the time of day.

IMO, Jim

Just announced, don't know when they'll hit the market.... soon I hope.

KidneyPuncher had a pre-order for a few days, before Aspire made them take it down. I was lucky enough to get one. Since then, Aspire released minimum retail pricing, which is much higher than KP was charging in the pre-order. They officially announced the tank yesterday, and expect them to start shipping November 22nd.

If I remember correctly (I could be wrong) isn't the lowest we can go on a P3 .7 ohm?

Yes, but the Atlantis coils come in 0.5/0.8/1.0 ohms. Only the 0.5 wouldn't work on the P3. You really don't need sub-ohm on a VV device like the P3, but in this case it's nice to have extra airflow and extra vapor production. 1.0 ohm will be nice on the P3; 0.5 will be nice on a mechanical.

Kayfun lite V2 style, hopefully with a matching brushed finish in 23mm. Perfect.
Flush as in diameter 22 vs 23. I think that's the point.

Yeah, if they're going to make a new tank with P3 theading, they might as well make it 23mm. If they don't , then I hope they would sell bases so we could upgrade our existing Kayfuns. Yes, plural - I have 3 authentics.

Since it's clear it will bother you (it probably would me too!), you should definitely send it back and let them replace it.

It's a beta right? I wonder if they'll replace the tube with a production version?

Love the sarcasm :) No, cloud chasers won't have anything to do with a 0.5 ohm device, or a VV/VW device. This tank is for people like me who like it inbetween the two crowds - great flavor, great vapor, at the same time.

I'm pretty sure it's a production unit he's referring to, but I could be wrong........

I'm right there with ya, 0.8 & 1.0 on the P3 could be fun to play with. I saw preorders for $36 & a release date of the 15th.... I'll be in line, always liked the Nautilus until the silo hit, so I'm curious how this one will perform, got a few mechs to try out the 0.5 as well. ;)

There's always a time for my RBAs & drippers, but sometimes you need a grab and go tank.

ProVape ... rocks, their customer service is amazing, sent my P3 in for the software upgrade, only charge was $5 for return shipping, plus throwing in the new bottom cap. And they have been excessively helpful with every question, or idea I've had. They have definitely won over a life long customer.
