I think you are right. Did it have an error code or error explanation or did it just sound the alarm and leave it to you to decide what you screwed up?

It was a message- I don't remember the exact text (might be in the manual somewhere) - said to lower my settings or check my atty... I knew right away what the problem was..

Hmmmm. So you set your watts at 19.8 and the boost did not have any appreciable impact? I can believe that. It probably boosted you 0.2 watts which is the equivalent of a fart in a windstorm.

exactly... and 19.8 is a bit hot to begin with for this build/juice .. so it was more like a fart at the landfill.

Not to get off the topic, but remember when you made a local call and the robot lady would get on and say, "You must dial the area code for a local call, please try again"? If she knew I was making a local call then why didn't she dial it for me? :)

yeah, but I think it would cause more confusion if the P3 auto limited as opposed to not firing and giving a message. I would agree that you could argue that one either way- maybe with all that processor, they can add "auto limit" as an on/off option in the future.

He's bucking for a divorce. :D

Wishful thinking on his part. He more then likely told his wife the Ti was the last mod he needed. I bought 2 Provari's in the last few months but I have some cash stashed away where she has no idea as to where it is. Plus she doesn't read my posts.

And when she sees you using it??

If she finds out she'll piledrive your head through the floor. :)

Well, I'm trying to land on a good build with an RTA, but no luck so far

At the power levels you listed, check out the Aspire Nautilus BVC (not rebuildable), the new Aspire Atlantis (comes with 0.5 ohm coils, but comes in 0.5/0.8/1.0), or the newly announced Kanger SubTank, which also comes with a 0.5 ohm coil, but also a *RBA HEAD*! First of it's kind. Should be interesting.

Great suggestions! I'm already using a Silo with the BVC coils, and highly recommend that setup. I'm more of a rebuildable junkie and trying to find the perfect rebuildable tank. Also, the P3 has expensive taste, and for me, makes more sense to put a somewhat more expensive atomizer on there, because A. they typically look really nice, and B. they typically outperform clearomizers. Emphasis on the typically in the latter statement. I just got my Erlkonigin working fantastic at 13.6 watts, which is a fairly sweet spot for me. I can't get it to work well at 15 watts because of dry hits, but I'm happy at 13.6

The clock running down to post time. Provape sure knows how to market their products. Once you see the clock you become hooked.

Hope they have some reserve bandwidth on their servers--apple was clogged big time on the midnight preorder on iPhone 6 and 6+. A noon laugh will mean everyone will be wide awake when they go on sale. I'm just glad I don't have to commit to a 2 year contact for a P3. <wink>
