No- not at all - it's more complicated than that- you can go to 20W with 1.8 ohms but depending on your gauge you won't notice much past around 18W. Tested that last week.So anything coil over 1.8 boost becomes useless? I then can't get above 10 watts of power.
because heat depends on the gauge of your wire and the current running through it. 32 ga will get much hotter at the same current than the same resistance (longer lenghth) of 26Ga.Why on earth would anyone need more then 20 watts?
From what I've seen so far, the P3 is going to like 1.2Ω ± 0.4Ω (depending on the wattage you vape).
Version 36? Thanks!

No, mine is a production P3 but on version 35.
The BoosT error with more than X.XΩ appears to have come with version 36. All I've been able to test is 1.8 (good) and 2.2 (error). Robino1 has seen no error at 2.0.

Which would me to question if you have an issue with your P3 or with your topper?
I'm running a full size Beyond Vape a Silo and BVC coils on my P3. While the coils are rated at 1.8, they consistently read 2 ohm on my P2.5 and P3.
Niiice!!! mine was from Thunderbay 2004...![]()
I think this is a "feature" of version 36. Another member here was actually the first to experience it before I did.
I've seen 1.8Ω and 2.5Ω clearomizer heads, as well as 2.0Ω (LR) cartos, actually 0.2Ω higher than rated.
