OK, glad I mentioned it. Feels better to know I'm not alone. I mean, even if I had five different toppers all with different power preferences, it would be the same effort to remember what power level I like each one than it is to remember the program I stored it on. Right?

For me, I saved two modes: light mode (both switch and screen on) and dark mode (everything off) - it's a touch faster/easier that way.

I was following the whole conversation avidly. Mine should be showing up Monday.
NOW I know how to store it safely. Whew! My mind can rest easy now. That problem is solved!

Only *IF* in six months from now you remember where you safely stored it. That's my type of problem...

Vape360 - Sure would be nice if you sold P3 extension rings... for those who want engraved rings on each extension piece, and those who want straight extension rings with no grooves. Even better, would be great to have a single extension ring for 18650's (as an option, of course). Just sayin' ;)

I'd bet they'd sell a few to 2.5 Mini owners as well. I'd love to replace the brushed stainless Tatroe ring on my mini with a satin P3 ring that matches.

I can't check out from the ProVape online store, using Chrome or Firefox. Logging in or checking out as guest takes me to a blank page (with only menu items). I'd like to give you my money, but... ;)

Scroll down, and you'll see what you're looking for further down the page. Just figured this out on my second checkout attempt.

Great use of recall. I have 2 stealth modes, one for nautilus and one for Kayfun that I use for driving. I don't like lighting up the mod while driving at night. And of course lighted modes for both. Along with the usual power level, boost mode, button color for non stealth mode, and a 5th for nautilus uber bright outside daytime mode. Might not sound like a big deal, but makes my life easy and I'm all about easy. I'm surprised this is not a more used feature judging by the comments here. But it's just a feature not a requirement and to each his own. But TBH, I would mind a few more than 5.

Well, I have mods that use VV/VW so the feature isn't new to me by any stretch. But it is new to the Provari so that's why I give it high kudos. The Provari truly was becoming outdated. I think of the lack of VW, the beveled edge, and the old 70's-looking display characters. Still a bit confused by the limited power, however. I have my thoughts but it's based purely on speculation.

The 70's-looking display is the reason I bought my first Provari. It reminded me of all the equipment I used in the Service, in the 70's and early 80's. If a bunch of 18 to 25 year olds couldn't break them. And it could handle all the dust, snow, mud, rain.................. it could handle a little leaked juice. It is also the reason I got the Ti. I have a board and display that is time tested to handle almost anything. And I have the new P3 top.

That's being cut right now. Should be ready next week :)

That would please me to no end...

Not because the cap says that. But, that you guys have the time and ability to do it to please a customer.

Well Done Vape 360, Well Done All at Provape!!!

Looking forward to your continued progression.

Jim

PS Now can we talk about massaging the My Rewards Program a lil?!?

The P3 is a stealth Angiebe. It can use the same battery as the mini uses. It all 3 sizes in one. Miracles do happen.

Hehehehehe..it maybe stealth like but not a true Stealth. And thanks for the batt info. I completely forgot it has the different extensions with it

Lol I need to get a tube myself. Once I do, I'll document the heat and time required to heat-seal as I described earlier.

Excellent!
I will clip the tip off and apply it; then time how long it takes me to throw it on my desk unsealed.

Well, I have mods that use VV/VW so the feature isn't new to me by any stretch. But it is new to the Provari so that's why I give it high kudos.

Variable wattage is also the most important to me. My attys drop in resistance as they crud up. I clean them with Everclear, but that only postpones it. The VW lowers the voltage as the resistance drops to keep the power from increasing and popping the coil.

...

Still a bit confused by the limited power, however. I have my thoughts but it's based purely on speculation.

I was dripping some samples at a local B&M earlier this week. When I told these young folks it was "only" 20 watts and couldn't support a new 0.5Ω Aspire Atlantis or upcoming Kanger SubTank, they almost called it a senior's mod ("old school"). When I ask one of the non-cloud blowers what his DNA40 was set on, he blushed a little and said, "Ten watts." I replied, "Me too… good flavor, eh?" Nevertheless, the ProVari image now seems that of a Buick in a world of 600 HP pony cars.

But put yourself in ProVape's shoes. Besides Snap-On tool ruggedness, safety is their marque. They can't afford a single ProVari thermal event in the news. They've made the decision to support 18350 batteries, but know there are some from eBay and Amazon that are risky at half their C rating when new. They'd have to support those 0.5Ω clearomizers with 7.75 amps (at 3.9V) to even get just 30 watts. Will they do that? I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Twenty watts is exactly the maximum power I vape today, with most of it around ten watts. 0.8Ω is now the lowest I build and they've given me a 0.1Ω cushion to their low limit. I appreciate them raising the current limit to 5.5A because I'm right at 5.0 with 20.0W/4.0V into 0.8Ω. One notch up and I'd be over. So for me, the power of the Provari 3 is everything I need.
