I guess I just don't see the point of actually puffing. Airflow keeps the coil cooler anyway. It seems like just pressing the button a second before you actually puff would pre-heat the coil better.
I'm excited about the P3, but it's going to be a couple months for me.
You are correct. However, it is an easy habit to form (primer puffs). Feels like you are getting something accomplished instead of just sitting there like a dummy waiting for the coil to heat up.

I'm not sure how to explain pre-puffing, but it is actually fairly natural to do. Even though I never did it until today. And that was ONLY because I was missing my P3.

I wonder if it is a limited run. If so I will need to buy one to stick in a drawer until I get a P3.
I'm debating whether or not to get one for my Ti. The Ti already has an endcap with the engraving on it that make it specific to the Ti. I probably will though, just because of the donation thing.
The end caps are the same for the P2 & 2.5's too right?! Not unique to the P3 if I remember correctly.

My IQ must be -50 today... I just realized that it reads Provarinati both up and upside down...
I bought one to go into a hermetically sealed box, an heirloom to be passed down from generation to generation.
There are two styles: one for the 2.5 (that would also fit the prior models) and one for the P3, which has a different spring.
At the recommendation of so many on this thread, I bought some No Ox and threw a P3 in for S's & G's. Liked the No Ox, tossed the P3 when it arrived.
I don't know if it's limited edition either, but getting one now would eliminate disappointment if it is and they're not available when you're ready to get your P3.
