Saw it. I'm afraid my eyes glazed over when he showed the parts chart. Just too complicated for this plug and vape kind of guy.........

Exactly my thoughts. Not that it bothers me...I'm a mechanical kind of guy but that thing is going to scare off the casual vapers. I'm just disappointed because it isn't bringing any game changing features...and for the price? Very disappointed.

I'm not mechanical at all. I'm actually quite impressed with myself when I change the BVC coil in my Silo, put it all back together and it works from the first vape. Yes, impressed indeed. I guess it just doesn't take that much to impress myself. But this kayfun thingy. Way too complicated. Way too much money. Way too much work for a nice vape.

Yeah. Four terminals, but single coil. Capacity ~4.5 ml. Valve that has to be closed to refill. Big, flashy appearance.

Don't think I'll give up my Erlkonigin (which holds almost twice as much, and can be refilled in seconds). Not gonna take a step back just to get a P3 connector.

The Kayfun was a major game changer. As big a game changer as any. But the K4 falls short IMHO. Just me.

I noticed Todd carefully said you're getting the Kayfun vape. I don't think he said the KF4 is a better vape than the KFL. OTOH, he didn't say it's no better than a KFL either, but that's what I get from reading between the lines.

You are getting the ability to refill while still on the mod and you can change out the cotton wick and dry burn the coil in the process without draining the tank.

Soon I'm getting my hands on a spare P3 510 connector, and a cheap Erl clone. The way the 510 connector goes into the Erl base, I'm thinking I can modify a P3 510 connector to fit it. Obviously need to do some grinding/other tooling, but it's worth a shot.

I read the same in-between lines. He first said it was a "Kayfun vape" and eventually got around to saying it was a little better. Interpretation: It's the same vape. As for filling,I've never had a lick of trouble filling my KFLs. As for draining, I just build them right so I don't have to drain the tank. Can't remember the last time I had to do that and when I did it was no big deal to suck the juice out with my syringe. $200? Really?

I have an 18-month old 0.5Ω coil of 26AWG Nichrome and the 0.8Ω 27AWG Kanthal coil lasted me 15 months. But i do like to change the cotton wick out periodically. :D

With yuh there. I went five months on a Kanthal build (it saw aprox 500mls of juice). It was still going too. I just changed it cuz I wanted to. As you say, easy enough to change out the wick. I do that frequently...like every 8mls. It's just too simple not to.

Wow, I felt like I need to go back to college and get my engineering degree to vape. By the time I get up in the morning, build that, put back together and adjusted it would be time to go back to bed lol

Not exactly plug 'n' play is it? I'm still trying to find where you stick the key in.

Can you see some old fart wanting to quit smoking and being handed that thing on a P3?
