Funny thing. He's wrapping gifts and he just walked over and handed me the nautilus P3, unwrapped and said Merry Christmas. Now stop sulking..........LOL

So, I get to put it on tonight. YAYAYAYAYAY!!! It came with 3 BVC 1.6 Ohm coils. I've only used the 1.8 coils, so I imagine I'll need to boost watts on the 1.6, but by how much I'm not sure? Also, the air opening ring is nicer than the other Nautilus I have. It's a much firmer turn to change openings. I think it's more like the ring on the Mini is.

I won't use until I do my nightly routine, so I'll report tomorrow what I think.

Why boost the watts?
I'd say leave them where they are at!
1.6 to 1.8 ohms isn't that big of a jump...
In fact, every time I put a "1.6 ohm" BVC in my Nautilus, it reads a little higher...1.7-1.8 ohms...

I was planning to start at 9.8 watts and then inch up if I feel I need to.

ha, that's ma brand new authentic Aqua V2... (sorry for the not so clear pic) It's working pretty well in single coil... ( I tried dual coil, but I think I'm too much a low strength vape wimp for that) but I really like it in single coil setup.. .... wait for it.... Yes I do!

Well here she is, the P3 Nautilus. I knew I had to remove the inner 510 ring to put it on, but I didn't realize the outer ring, the one with Provape and made in the USA would need to be removed too.

I'm surprised that I like how it looks without that ring.

The new Nautilus Vapes great with a 1.6 ohm BVC coil. I did push watts to 10.2 after trying it at the 9.8 watts I typically use on THE 1.8 BVC's.

And here's the requisite picture:

You're thinking in 'volts' mode again. When in watts mode, 9.8w is 9.8w regardless of the ohms of the coil.

Then I'm afraid my pea-sized brain is NEVER going to get it. No it's not. Oh and after sitting all night and the coil getting completely saturated, 10.2 felt wrong this morning, so I've gone back to 9.8 watts which is just what seems to provide me the most satisfying vape.

Does anyone that's getting a P3 Nautilus also have a BeyoneVape Silo? I'm nearly positive it should work, but I'd really like confirmation on whether I'd be able to use the P3 Nautilus base/AFC with the glass and cap of the Silo.

It won't work. Assuming I understand what you want to do, you want to put the P3 Nautilus connector on a Silo Top, right? If that is correct, they don't connect. I did try it just to see.

I'm in! Can I pick first?

We'll flip for it.

Wait. Forget that. If I try to flip I'll probably break an arm or something. OK, you pick first.

And if there's something that trumps "The most satisfying vape", color me stupid. You enjoy that vape, Sir Rod.

And thanks for the info on the Naughty Silo concept. I was wondering the very same thing myself. You probably saved me some money.

Probably more money saved too. Jeez - do I owe you a cut or something? ;-)

I like the tank and weighed getting one, but I'm not seeing any reason to now, when I realize that the difference from the regular once is (more-or-less) nominal. Plus it would only work on one of my devices, so...

The check's in the mail.

Yes, the reality is it's a Nautilus. It vapes like a Nautilus. It looks like a Nautilus. And it just so happens to have a P3 connector.

Yeah, I figured as much. If I was looking for a tank I certainly might, but I can't justify buying one to occupy space currently held by, well, another Nautilus.

(sigh)

I'll keep shopping.

I'm KIDDING!

I only have one full size nautilus and one mini so a P3 nautilus would be great on my Provi Ti. And if I can swing a new Provi P3 next month I will definitely get one. Fingers crossed.

For me it wasn't a bad purchase. In addition to the P3 Nauty, I only have two other tank systems, a 510 Nauty and a Silo. So having 3 toppers isn't a bad thing and I do like the way the P3 Nautilus connects to my P3. It's a very firm and comforting connection.

I agree COMPLETELY. I would definitely be getting one if...

I have {long pause} more than three. We'll just leave it at that.

Are there any other tanks made that have the P3 threads?

Also what tanks match the dia. of the P3?

Will the ProVari 3 Ego Adapter Kit help match up a Kanger Pro tank 2 for a smooth transition to the P3?

There's a new Svoemesto Kayfun for the P3. It costs $200 and is waaaaaaaaay too complex for me, besides I'm not a RBA guy. The P3 is 23mm, and most if not just about all tanks are 22mm, but really the 1mm difference is virtually unnoticeable. I don't know about the Ego Adapter kit for a Kanger Pro, so someone who uses one will need to chime in on that.

Color me forgetful, but I was pretty sure I remember reading that the P3 is 22.5mm?
The diameter difference when I have a Kayfun, or a Nautilus on it, seems to be 0.5mm.....
The only thing I can compare this to is the juice well of my Plume Veil dripper...which is 3mm deep. There is no way the step between my P3 and Kayfun or Nautilus is one third as thick as the juice well of the Plume Veil...
As convoluted of a means of measuring as that is, the eye doesn't lie...
And if it does lie, it's time for a new lens prescription! Yes it is!

You got me. The P3 is 22.5. So there's even less of a difference as .5mm is very minimal.
