Just saying - I'll bet even the "Professional" reviewers/vapers can't make this claim. I think you've found the Unicorn!

It works so well ... I'm worried about losing that little blue screwdriver

I was reading that funny thread where everyone was talking about having tons of them with their clones ... I was too embarrassed to chime in and offer to buy a couple

and wicking with the KGD is so easy to replicate ... 1/8" strip split in 1/2

I also have 29 and 28ga that I've never used ... I'm kinda afraid to try making them any other way

Well why would you mess with something if what you do works so well? Huh? Why? LOL

It is totally believable to me. I've used authentic KFL's since the summer of 2013 when there were no clones. My first build worked perfectly. In all this time I have never had flooding, a dry hit, or a single molecule of leakage.

Sir Rod, a head's up. You will find condensation building on the bottom of your KFL as you use it. But that's all it is...condensation. It is not juice. I just wipe it off on my shirt. It's water.

I used 30 gauge on my P2...28 took toolong to heat up. When I got my P3, I switched to 28 gauge because boost allowed me to ramp up the heat quicker. I prefer 28 over 30...more coil area.

Thanks for the headsup Bronze. I've just watched a couple hours of reviews on the Lite + and it actually looks easier to build a coil for than the Sub Tank Mini, which has such a teeny tiny build deck. I can do it. Yes I can!!

RB just trying keep you confused take a look at this tool. https://youtu.be/Ix_IRlF-JmU

Thanks cool Ping. Do you have one and where did you get it?? Huh?? Where??

I'd never seen that before and boy was it intense. I sure hope a Kayfun Lite + is waaaaaaay less intense!

BTW, I switched back to my Silo tank tonight with BVC. I'd forgotten that it's actually a pretty good system. Good Vapor, Good Taste. It will have to keep my until the Kayfun arrives as I got another handful of juice from the Mini and that was it. It's cleaned and stored away and likely won't ever be used again. I could have purchased one Lite for the cost of two Mini's. That's pretty disappointing.........

I'm sure we all have bone boxes, But it's really annoying to keep throwing good money after bad. I so hope I'm finally happy with the Lite +. Yes I am!

I have to say the P3 is such an amazing device. When I took the Mini off, my bettery percentage remaining was 24%. I was running it at 17 watts with a 1.2 ohm coil. 4.4 Volts seems to be the perfect place for the way I vape. So, I put the Silo on with a 1.8 ohm BVC and turned the watts down to 9.8 which turns out to be 4.4 volts. My battery percentage jumped up to 40% immediately. Yay P3!!

I understand. I hear people say, "Well, think of what it cost you to smoke cigarettes...you're still saving money". I guess I never bought into that. Wasting money is wasting money and if you have gear that fails you then it is wasting money. If it makes you feel better, I bought every vape contraption known to man until I got my Kayfuns. I've had no need to buy anything else. There are many excellent attys out there...and they all incorporate the Kayfun design to one extent or another. Some of them serve some vapers better. But it remains, the Kayfun design resides in almost every tank on the market today.

After watching PB, some lady, another dude and then another dude, all sing the praises of the Kayfun Lite +, not just in vapor production, but in taste, reliability, ease of making a coil for it and quality of manufacture, I'm hoping I will have finally found the right atty for me. I so hope I have!

And you're right. I've never fallen into the "but you're saving money by not smoking" thing either. Wasting money is a bad thing no matter how much of it one has. And I don't have unlimited $$ to throw away. No I don't!

Thanks for your insights, but I'm convinced the leak is due to the poorly designed and skimped out o-rings on the Sub Tank Mini. ... Which is why, I believe, Kanger is now coming out with Sub Tank Plus, with beefier o-rings, which I'm sure is because I'm not the first to complain about leaks.

Sorry, but again, the SubTank mini (22mm) is NOT being upgraded, because it doesn't need to be. The SubTank Plus is a 25mm (with higher juice capacity than the original, thus the "plus"), which replaces the known problematic 25mm SubTank. You have a SubTank MINI, not a SUBTANK, right? Again, the upgrade is for the 25mm SubTank ONLY, NOT for the SubTank mini. Careful reading the forums, as Kanger has made it confusing with SubTank (25mm), SubTank mini (22mm), SubTank nano (17mm?), and now the SubTank Plus (25mm, replacing the original 25mm SubTank). AFAIK, they have not announced any plans to upgrade the SubTank mini.

If I left you with the impression I said the Mini was being upgraded, that wasn't my intention. I did say it's the sub tank that is being upgraded. But I don't agree with you at all that the Mini does not need to be upgraded. It most certainly does. The o-ring on the mini is simply inadequate. And I'm not the only one who has experienced leaking on the Mini, so it has a problem. But that's not unusual for Kanger IMHO. Every single Kanger tank I've owned has had an issue. I should have known better than to buy one (though I did initially sing its praises), as it has let me down like every Kanger tank before it I've owned.

Bottom line, if the 25 mm has been problematic, so too is the 22 mm version. And I'm frankly finished with Kanger products, period.

Somehow, you did leave me with that impression. I'll go back and review the posts and see how I made that assumption.

That's the line... There is no relationship between the Mini and the Plus. Your comment led me to believe that you thought the Plus was the upgrade to the Mini. Simple communication breakdown. At least we're both on the right track now :) Hope the KFL+ works out for you from day 1, but if not, there are a few of us here with a bit of experience so I'm sure we can be of some help. I tend to be lazy and switch tanks rather than rebuild, then have a rebuild party. The last time I rebuilt 5 KFL+'s at once, and 4 were good - 1 leaked. All authentic (not much clone gear left in my vape stand, except a KayFun 4 that I was checking out. I didn't even build it - I know I don't want one at this time, and will stick with the KFL+'s).

I do agree with you about Kanger's history of failures, but my experience with 2x SubTank mini's is they've finally figured things out. Too bad you had a bad experience with yours. I hope mine don't develop any issues. One of them is going to be repurposed on my SXmini M-class (temperature control), with a Ni200 coil. I'm curious to see how different the same tank is with temperature control, but that's a topic for another thread. Hopefully there's a P4 in ProVape's lab, being tested with Ni200.

Yes, I can see how my post could have left the impression the Mini was being redone, when I knew it was the Sub Tank. But my pea-sized brain was just suggesting that since I read one of the key things the Sub Tank redesign included was beefier o-rings, it just stands to reason that the Mini and nano are going to likely be redesigned as well. And from my experience, the should be.
