Nope, the Heatvape Power Tube is 60W and has TC. But it is also 18650 only and isn't nearly as nice looking as the Procyon, IMHO.

Had to look that one up. Interesting looking mod, but screams "cheap, cheap, cheap!". Went to a few sites to confirm if it was even real stainless steel (and or brass), and all I could find was "metallic-looking" and "gold-colored", lol. Wattage in *8W* steps? Yikes. Takes an 18650 (only), but is 30mm wide. I bet keeping that thing clean would be a nightmare.

Got a PM about another tube mod that can reach 80W with extension tubes and stacking two 18650 batteries (effectively turning it into a baton). Guess that answers my question about the most powerful tube mod, providing those two actually do reach the wattages claimed. Procyon is still the winner in looks, build quality, UI design, and features - IMHO.

If it's anything like the Invader Mini, then it's a solid build, but I probably still wouldn't bother picking one up. And yeah, I can't imagine trying to keep that thing clean with all of those nooks and crannies!

Stacked 18650s?!? Yeah... I'll pass on that one. Not a fan of series/stacked batteries. Besides, no interest in vaping from a T-ball bat... I absolutely agree, the Procyon still wins over the others!

Are those the brown batteries?
I just looked through our testing logs and we did do some testing on the AW 3000mah. They are good batteries, but the LG HG2 and 25R did better with the i
and stacking two 18650 batteries (effectively turning it into a baton).

Did you mean Bomb or Baton..Just checking

When the guy in my office bought my P3, I gave him a Beyond Vape Silo, some coils, juice and extra batteries. I set it all up for him and to make sure it was drawing OK, I took a few vapes on it. Mind you I haven't vaped on the Silo in a loooooong time. When I used it, I thought it was a very good atomizer. But, I'm telling you that after vaping Kabuki's for the last couple months, there's simply no comparison. They may as well be in different universes. Amount of vapor, and flavor was so off to me in the Silo, compared to the Kabuki. At least I gave it someone who has no other point of reference and for him, just getting into vaping, starting off with a P3 and a Silo is miles better than just about every starter kit out there. In that I feel good, but I just couldn't believe the difference between them.

I have several Silo Beast tanks and they are amazing. I think its an underrated tank especially with the different coil options you can use. I also have a couple of the Solara DNA 40's I usually use with the Silo Beast. Great stuff. I found the Silo Beast with the 1.8 ohm coils worked great when I paired it up with my P3 before I got the Kabuki.

But... Before you finalized the sale, did you...

Tell him about the New ProVape Mod, that would prolly be a better purchase for him?!?

For what he paid and with what he got, there is no better purchase for him. He did very well shopping in SR's Vaperama Shop. Yes he did.

This was the original Silo, not the Beast, so maybe there have been improvements. A comparison of the original Silo vs the Kabuki puts the Kabuki miles ahead in vapor production and taste. At least to me, it does.

LOL - Both really. Stacking batteries is a whole lot less safe than single cells in general, but doesn't have to be completely unsafe if done properly (emphasis on "properly"). I guess that clues us in on ProVape's plans for a 2-cell series mod... ;)

I should actually say...Is the Procyon and the P3 (in 18650 configuration) the same size?

I'm going to guess they are. Especially when you know the new bottom cap can work on a Classic or P3. In checking the dimensions of the P3 vs the Procyon, there is a size difference, but I'm betting the P3 size does not include the extension tube for 18650 mode.

I would go a lil further a guess that the ProCyon will be about 1/8 to 1/4 inch longer, due to the newer/better battery cap.

I haven't read the whole thread, so this may have already been asked and answered:

Is it named for Procyon the star or Procyon lotor?
I am going to guess stars based on ProVape's pic of stars in the Galaxy.
