I am REALLY on the fence here. I think the Procyon is a logical step. I love my P3 and still use it even though I have two Radii but I still enjoy my P3. In fact I ordered my third Kabuki tank for my P3. And now the Procyon is available.
I am trying to compare the Procyon to the P3 rather than the Procyon to the Radius. Compared to the P3 it is a big step up in power. But I cant help compare it to the 40 watts of the Radius.
Anyway....I dont know what tank I would run on the Procyon but I have several options I think that would work. Of course there is the Kabuki but I run that 11 watts so the Procyon is probably overkill for that. I could use my Silo Beast with coils ranging from 0.5 to 1.8, my CoV Vengeance with the 0.8 coil, and a few others.
So here is the question I have....is the Procyon more power efficient than the P3 if they are using the same battery?
The single 18650 doesnt bother me depending on how the Procyon uses battery power. For example I have a Project Sub Ohm S80 (80W) and it uses a single 18650 battery and it lasts a good while and I am vaping it at about 30-35 watts with a Vengeance tank with a .2 ohm coil. And while I dont use it, when I worked in a vape shop I sold a lot of the VTC 75W devices. All these use single 18650 (granted all use a different chip than the Procyon)
The Procyon is attractive because it offers more power and more flexibility (power wise) than my P3. Even if the Radius can get an upgrade to 50W (which would be nice just to have) I still like the tube design of the Procyon. And I like the all satin stainless too.......literally sitting here trying to decide if I am going to just pull the trigger and order one.
