So who else would buy a ProVape (P3 thread) rda?
I don't see anyone else making them any time soon if ever, maybe HoH.
But i would definitely be interested in them especially now with the Procyon.
Right now we have by Leo, Svoemesto and Zen making P3 thread tanks

Question guys...

When I use say a subtank mini on my Procyon, the tank (glass, drip tip) seems to get way hotter to the touch than when I use it say on my IPV D2 (both firing at 30 watts.) What is the reason for this?

Probably because your Procyon is truly firing at 30 watts, whereas your IPV likely is not. Thus the added warmth.

That's what I figured but wasn't sure. Also is it normal for the extreme top of the Procyon to be a bit warm? Like above the OLED area of the tube?

I don't fire close to 30 watts, but you're putting a lot of watts into that coil, so it wouldn't be unusual for there to be some warmth. Too hot to touch would be bad, but warm wouldn't be unusual.

Yea it's just warm, not hot. I don't usually go over 30 watts, if I sub-ohm I use .5 and I usually stay around 30 watts. I either use .5ohm or 1.2ohm coils, that's pretty much what I stick with these days.

Just remember that a Provari will fire EXACTLY what you set it to. Lesser devices, not so much. Chances are if you were happy with the vape on your IPV at 30 watts, you can back down the watts on your Procyon and get a similar experience, but save battery usage.

Hey guys,

I got my SS Procyon today and am having a few issues that concerns me. I put a freshly charged 18650 in device (the upgraded battery 3000mah LG) and device shows battery is dead sometimes and other times it shows it's fully charged. I took battery out, tested it other mod it shows full charge...I put battery back in Procyon and then get "internal error" messages telling me to return device for service. Has anyone else had this issue with a brand new Procyon?

Quick question regarding tech specs...

"Self-adjusting center contact pin ensures maximum compatibility with tanks and atomizers."

My brass pin doesn't move, how is it "self adjusting" if the pin does not move like a spring loaded 510?
You answered your own question.
It's not spring loaded, and the tech specs don't say it is.
The orange O-ring under the center pin (same setup as the P3, New Classic, and Radius) allows for some play when an atomizer is connected.
You can't, however, push it down by hand...at least not very easily.
But when you mechanically thread your atomizers onto the cap, it will adjust.

Example:
For the old Provari v2.5 (and earlier) the center pin was fixed. My Kayfun Lites would not sit flush, unless I modified the insulator on the Kayfun.
With my P3's, I don't have to do that, because the P3's pin will flex.

I realize the tech specs didn't say spring loaded but it said self adjusting...to me it didn't make any sense how it could be self adjusting if the pin wasn't spring loaded. That's why I was asking. Thanks
Yeah, I kind of like to know how it works. What's pushing it back up?
