Thanks! My next Radius will be a midnight blue with the graphite grey metal finish:

And then when the Kabuki is available in bronze and graphite I'll be getting those too! :w00t:

It's not quite that blue, except when well lit. I love mine, but often forget that it's blue (my house has low lighting).

Has anyone else had issues with the internal charger on the Radius? Seems to me that the when I remove the battery, and charge it in my external charger, it last longer through the day vs charging it in the Radius? Has anyone else noticed the same issue?

I've also noticed about once a week, 8 hours of charging, and it's still not fully charged. Blue light still on, and charging.

I experience the exact same thing, maybe it will be fixed in a future firmware update? When the Radius says the battery is fully charged (light goes out) and i remove the battery and put it in my external charger, a Sysmax Nitecore Intellicharger i4, only two diodes lights up and it will continue to charge the battery for around an hour. I have much better battery hour, using the external vs. the build in. And for the record I have also experienced a few times that after 6 hours of charging the blue light was still on.

I've been using my Radius at 9 watt since I bought it and it's a good amount of vapor and tastes good with the juice I've been using in the Kabuki too. Yesterday, I went to a local vape store and I see now what is meant by the "cloud chasers" and I can't help but wonder if these obnoxiously large clouds of vapor is the reason they decided to outlaw vaping in bars and such in my city like they did smoking. It seems a bit over the top and unessesary to me? It's like watching one person putting on his own concert and I'm waiting for the theme music lol

Yeah, it's totally silly. To answer your question, here in Utah, it was banned before 'Cloud Chasing' got really popular.

Thanks for the info! I work outside for the railroad and I have this horrible habit of getting out of trucks (PV on lap) and my Provari Mini drops on the hard ground/ballast frequently. I've replaced my R2 Jwrap on my Mini a few times already but the thing is built tough and only faint marks on the end cap.

That said, I ordered a mini length leather holster from Provape to use on my P3 which hasn't arrived yet and perhaps as extra protection for my Mini too.

I plan to get a leather holster for Radius as well since I've been too worried to take it to work. I'm just in too harsh of an environment, I'm too careless, and yet I do like my stuff to be in pristine condition. At least I'm not worried about breaking it and it's why I spend the extra for a tough American made device though. :)

Two years of abuse and my Mini works perfectly and I expext no less from the Radius.

Since you mentioned it, I recently received my new Radius holster. It's a work of art and built like a tank. I opted for a carbon fiber finish and felt lining but they can be had in a bunch of flavors. Best yet it's crafted by an ECF local, Coffeebum.

Quick Radius question (hoping this is the right place!).

I have Noalox for my 2.5 threads - will this also work for the Radius threads or is there something different (or anything) needed for the P3 connection?

Thanks ...
is there a link or site where I might be able to order one? That's really nice!

I messed up the quote. This was for Jim
Jim said the holster was from @coffeebum . If that doesn't create a link to his profile, just go up to the members tab above and you will see a box on the right "find member." Search his name and start a conversation with him. Enjoy the holster!

Yea, they are made of Kydex and custom fit to your Radius. You can check him out at Vape Cases here on ECF.

So today is my nieces birthday and she loves the cabernet red Radius and Kabuki I got for her. She filled the Kabuki with some 'nana cream and she's in vaping heaven :)

And here's something else that's really cool. About 3 months ago my niece started dating this girl who smokes. Or rather, who used to smoke. My niece completely stopped smoking with my old ProVari 2.5 and Aspire Nautilus I gave her and she has now passed it on to her girlfriend and she's been tobacco free now for 2 weeks.

Outstanding! That's called paying it forward, and it's something that's been promoted here on ECF since I've joined. Great job, man!

The Radius I gifted my niece is already on it's way back to the re-seller in Germany. The screen cover is loose, you can move it with your finger and it rattles around. Really Provape, a €200 mod and it has a loose screen. It's gonna be at least a week and a half before she gets her replacement and I just hope that one doesn't have a loose screen. Nice going, great quality control! Here I was thinking I got her a nice present and now we have to deal with this BS.

No, we don't. Oh, and the battery wrap also has tear in it at the negative pole. And here's what's so funny about this. All of our Chinese made SX Mini's are flawless, but a company like Provape that says they make the highest quality mods on the market lets this slip through the cracks. Something like this doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in my niece with the Provape brand.

While I don't doubt anything you've said. Even you must admit that you're luck has to be the exception to the rule.

I hope it all gets fixed for you.

Jim

PS I would add that buying from a local retailer adds to the handling factor. Perhaps they tore the battery wrap or even dropped the mod?!?
