Received the PlastiMod in Cabernet today. I traded a P3 for it.
Provari build quality and Provari vape quality. Exactly what I expected.
Nice unit actually and 40W covers about 2/3 of the ranges I vape in.
26SSx36K1 Clapton at 20W is plenty sufficient, smooth and a great vape experience.
It will likely be parked on my nightstand, but will be my out of the house mod as well due to the quality and dependability.

I liked the Nautis Provape threw into my Radii order so much, that I ordered about 20 boxes of coils and a couple metal replacement tubes. I like how they vape, and like even more the idea of loaning out easy drivers to family and friends. I have five P2.0s and 2.5s for loaners, so also ordered some cheap FT clown type tanks. But I'm not gonna be spending $3,000+ for a lifetime supply of coils.
I'm in the same boat. Not dropping thousands on coils.

My wife uses a Kabuki, a Nautilus Mini and a Triton Mini daily and I usually have 1-2 Kabukis going along with a KFL+ and a subohm tank (Crown or Subtank Mini usually).

I have about 15 boxes of coils on hand and as I am in Canada, I will have more time than my friends in the US to stock up. I asked my local B&M to work out a deal on another 20-40 boxes and if I can get them to come in at about $8-9US, I will pull the trigger likely on 40 boxes. That is a stupidly expensive purchase to justify, but it would give us 3-4 years of vaping our tanks (selectively) that use them along with my Kayfuns and other rebuildables.

Crown has a RBA, Kanger has a RBA and I wish someone with half a brain (and definately smarter than me) comes up with a reasonably useable rebuildable solution.

I'd still be using cartos had there been a rebuildable solution! Actually, that's prolly not true, since I can barely manage building on a stinkin' tiny Chalice III.

After insisting to Kim at ProVape that my Radius couldn't possibly be set to manual display advance, turns out it was.

I was trying to advance the menu with the main button, instead of the small adjustment buttons.

I was confused for a bit. I thought PlastiMod was a different mod until a lil bit of googling resulted in PlastiMod being the joke of a mod they think the Radius is over at VU.

You learn something new every day. :D

I joined over there and lasted about 10 min.

I have owned mods and tanks that were garbage, but I see no value in bashing them over and over. Maybe let people know that I had one that died, leaked... whatever, but I have no time for people who seem to care so much how others spend their money.

i no longer smoke and my Radius cost about as much as 3 weeks of cigarettes. Seems like a deal to me. :thumb:

Well, you can have polycarbonate and something you want to carry in a pocket or all metal and something that weighs half a Metric Ton like the SX Minis.

I'll take the polycarbonate.
Aren't most expensive gun grips made with the same stuff?

Also, the SX Mini is a great mod and my second favorite behind the Radius. Bought near the same time, my SX looks like it was dragged behind a truck and my Radius still looks new.

Yea go read the thread over there. It's hilarious. I subscribed to it just for a daily lol. I love it when people that know pretty much nothing, try to talk as if they are experts. It also why I watch some reviewers most seem to hate.

Well, I'm just gonna say I'm not holding out hope for a might; especially considering as I was saying before, he's been dead set against it; even in the face of deeming regs & hasn't been around here in a while to even state anything in regard to the future of the Kabuki.
I'm with you. I seriously doubt it in a 510 format. You can find them in P3 connection

I did read it- that's how I discovered PlastiMod buuuuut I didn't find the thread hilarious at all.

Many of the members there got mad here & decided to take their toys to a different playground- others just got banned. Any time I am searching for something, & that search leads me there, I have to read post after hateful-trash-talking post about all things ECF & it's members just to get to what I was looking for.

I always say if a mod manufacturer no longer meets ones' needs, then it's time to move on to one that does. The only time I trash-talk is when I've been done wrong.......visions of VS still make me angry as hell & probably always will!!!

Actually, I thought I made it up. I don't remember seeing it before, but I might have.
I actually think it is the perfect material for the Radius. I prefer it over metal.
I've never had any problems w/the Glock pistols I've owned and have never worn one out.

A P3 RDA base for the Kabuki? Where???
Yep P3 connection is the only way you can get it anymore. @Provape $89-$99. You can also get that configuration at House of Hybrids. Better IMHO; much better connection and same great Vape.

The posting over at VU is quite immature ... very Reddit like.

And we wonder how lawmakers can be allowed to kill vaping while many vapers sit back and do nothing but b!tch and complain....

The cigar folks have their $h!t together while the vaping industry/consumers do very little. United we ain't. It's unfortunate and it will likely be our demise.

Ain't I a ray of sunshine on this beautiful Tuesday morning?:D

M16 & AR15 are made from similar if not the same material. And pretty durable weapons. And sure do like the feel and build on the Radius as well :thumb:

I remember just after I first joined ECF late last year many people were posting that they couldn't believe that the Radius was "plastic". Lots of bashing for sure.

Not sure why a heavy steel case is necessarily better though. I love my SX mini but it weighs a ton and the finish wears off if you even look at it. The Radius is just solid and barely has a scratch.

I think you misunderstood what we were talking aboout when you initially commented. We know about the P3 base and that Zen said they weren't making the 510 anymore. We're talking about Zen making a rebuildable base.
