Your both right in a sense. Apple itself is set at $79 for most batteries depending on connection. Independents, authorized or not can charge up to $350. The devil is in the details. Some add other parts into the service like mikes and jacks even if the are not needed as a cya service package
I think we should fight about it some more.

:w00t::pop::pop::pop: Who started this Apple stuff anywhoo:nun::facepalm:

These two crazy MoFos named Steve. Jobs and Wozniak, respectively.

Actually, it was Xerox that made the first GUI (graphical user interface). They were sooooo.... pleased with themselves that they showed it off to Steve Jobs.

Big Mistake!!! Really, really Big Mistake!

True, rbylawski; and if I did do "out and about", would do the same. However, am retired and I love the look as it was meant to be and am willing to pay a few bucks to have duplicates in my "stash". :)

Granny, send me a private message with your address and I'll send you both of mine. I'm pretty sure they are still in the box.

No apple was started befor that. The apple 1 was command line based. Steve Jobs bought the gui / mouse tech from Xerox after IBM turned it down. It was IBM that offered it to Steve and Bill. Bill had just got DOS and wasn't interested until the apple two trumped his dos box. He then stole the gui tech and twisted it for winblows.

I know Apple existed before Xerox showed off. But I don't think Apple would be where they are today if not for the near total mismanagement of the marketing of some of Xeroxes brilliant computer innovations.

Check out this link:
Xerox PARC and the Lisa

Sorry, I forgot to ask if you'd like some of the popcorn. :w00t:

As I said before agree to disagree. Many of our experiences have been great- others, not so much!

Note 5!!!
We can agree to disagree all day and night, but facts are facts.

Edit: Sorry...that made me sound like kind of a di¢k. Not my intent. [emoji173]️

Apple themselves would never "add other parts" without asking the customer.
My roommate (Apple Genius) says they'll stop mid-repair, and wait to contact the customer if they find they'll need to do more than the agreed upon repair/service.
Company policy.
Now, other places, I can't speak about...cuz I don't know.

Best battery charger and gooooooo.......

Sold my brother my old charger (he needed a new one and I don't need one right this second thanks to the radius). Had a nitecore d4 (I think that was model). I've heard mention good things of the xtar vp4. Any other good chargers out there? What's the best charger at the moment.

Many of us are huge fans of Xtar. You just can't make a mistake with one. I use the VP2 as I rarely need to charge more than 2 batteries at one time.

I've had my PILA for about 5 years now, still rocking. That being said, I did order a VP4 during their black friday sale and do like it a lot. I like the fact you can set your charge rate (wish it was per port) and like the graphical UI. How safe it is compared to the PILA, couldn't tell you.

I'm kinda interested in this new offering at Orbitronics. It's the only offering that I have seen with all 4 channels operating independently. As my wife and I both vape, this could be very handy. Especially when using any of our 2x 18650 devices. ;)

Well, I tried the Linky thing, and it didn't work. Grrrrrr!!!

Yea it did.

Not once did I dispute any "facts" yet you & others seem to want to tell me the experiences I & my son have had like ya'll were there & none of you were.

You can proceed to spout facts all you want. I'm done talking about what happened with us!

On that note- Have a good day!
