so peoples solutions are to wait several hours, or use multiple devices.

really now.
My solution? Use through the day, charge at night. I use other devices for chain vaping. As to the battery door design, it's only "difficult" because it is different to what you are accustomed to. It only takes me about 10 to 15 seconds to swap out the battery if I forget to charge it up. Hold the mod upside down with your thumb on the bottom plate (over the spring) and pointer finger over the top of the mod....spin out screws. Super simple.

No, I didn’t. Partly because I hate watching video reviews, and partly because I trusted the provape brand. This is akin to discovering a car you've rented has a square steering wheel that only turns left, and being questioned if you read the reviews beforehand for something that no other car on the market is like, or would ever be expected to be like.

And how exactly is this good design? What unmet need in the marketplace is this fulfilling?

It's a "feature" that exactly nobody was clamoring for, ever.

Look, I know I'm not going to "win" here, and I'm not trying to. This is more a matter of giving voice to a matter that someone (and I'm not the only one, I realize now) who wants to be their customer would like to see addressed. I understand this device is obviously not for me, hence having an RMA# in hand and a new device arriving tomorrow.

Hopefully v2 addresses their horrible design choices.
Most of us find the design perfect.....the benefits of a captive battery mod, without the draw back of it being a throw away once the battery dies.

If that isn't a design feature you like, but still want provari......they do have the Procyon. A 50 watt tube mod akin to the P3

I can do it even faster when not held out under a cell phone camera......not all that onerous ;)

Maybe we should do a change your battery challenge. I have a radius, most days it sits on my counter. I like it, but prefer the tube mods. Maybe I should open a ticket with provape, I think they should've made a radius tube just for me!

Here's what I like about the Radius cap....wait for it...wait for it....wait for it...yea, I just don't think about it. To me, not thinking about my darn battery is a blessing, not a curse or inconvenience. I plug it in when I need to. Big deal...I will put a new battery a year from now.

....now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Couldn't agree more.

Well, I could but you wouldn't notice because I totally agree.

Completely.

Same here. I dont think about the battery or having to change it and I like that. I just plug it in when it needs a charge.

I love it when people talk (write) simple logic. A 25R lasts me all day and then I charge at night. What could be better? Admittedly, I carry two ProVaries with me wherever I go, so I am never caught short.

Hey good post. Will check these out myself!

Actually I'm using two of these with the Anker charger for the Radii. I needed a bit more length than one foot but much less than three feet. 18 inches works great for me. These also have the advantage that with the Radius the cable points up when inserted, which makes them idiot proof for idiots. The only problem is this vendor is out of stock. But I'm sure they are available from others.

I managed to knock one of my Radii to the floor while connected to the included cable. The cable connector snapped while still attached, but thankfully no damage to the Radius. I like to take a toot while charging, so the 18" length would be better. Good info!

Same here. My Radius lasts me all day with a Kabuki unless I chain vape all day and night. I bring a 18350 P3 or Classic as a backup in case a coil goes or somethig else happens to my Radius.

My purple princess arrives today, but I can't remember if I ordered that before or after the upgrade. I'll report back when I can.
Thanks! Just curious. I could write ProVape but I don't feel like it.
