Oh, can the display be switched to show volts? I have tinkered with the menu, but can't seem to find it.

The display shows only watts, I think I read that the P3 had also variable voltage but as I understand the Radius is variable wattage only.

You are correct, the P3 does have a volt setting, the Radius does not. That was the one thing I really did not like about the Radius. I only got one of them, would have bought a few if they had incorporated a volt setting in the menu.

Hi all,

I just got back from New York and if any of you are local and after a radius VapeNY had a few 60w and 40w in stock. Walk in only though I'm afraid.

They had blue and red in 60w and ghost white in 40w if I remember correctly.

They also had a custom one available think it was black, skull print, with bronze top / bottom. Big label on that one that said "don't sell" though...

I have been struggling with it, I am not used to watts at all. The form factor and the + & - buttons, and the fact that I can put it in a shirt pocket, and not have it slide out, (With the sleeves on) makes them worth it. I really wish I had gotten more of them last year when I had the chance. I guess I just did not think that Provape would just give up the fight like that. I am happy that I bought the 4 that I did buy though. :)

Guys, I wonder if any of you has had this problem: The Radius stoped working and it seemed that it was due to battery because it showed it empty in the screen but the radius didn't show the battery warning lighting the button as it used to flash

I put it to charge but battery level didn't go up and the mod wasn't vaping, no error messages.

Then I took out the battery, reinserted the same one and after rebooting the mod is working again

No funny resistance readings or variations in the ohm reading.

Any ideas?

I've been to their shop, and they were/are big Provari fans, and nice helpful folks who upgraded my P3 software at no charge.

I don't think they simply "gave up the fight".
The FDA imposed hideously expensive regulations and if I was a small to medium business owner I very much doubt I could absorb the compliance costs without at least severe financial difficulties.

Sometimes enough is enough in business and it simply becomes too hard to go forward. (First hand experience :( )

I'm extremely sad for their demise as I quickly became a ProVape convert shortly after giving up the stinkies.
I "only" have 3 mods. All Provari's.
And with zero interest in any other brand I'm placing my hope for a relatively trouble free vaping future in these wonderful products.

I wish the owners/directors/staff of ProVape a positive and peaceful future in whatever their endeavours.
Their products continue to play a huge part in my continued health improvements, and for that I'm incredibly grateful :)

I am not sure about this but Provape was one of the largest manufacturer in the USA if not the largest. For them to be the first to go was a big shock for me, REO's and Billet box's are still being made and those are very small companies compared to Provape. I saw the Zen video and what he said about it, and I understand their reasons for getting out while they were ahead.
I am not really sure of what others are out there in the USA, I kind of just stick to those 3. Maybe saying "giving up the fight" was the wrong way to word it.
I guess what really ticks me off the most is, they made the best circuit boards for e-cigs (IMO), and now there will be no more of them. :(

KAS

I just thought of something, I remember bill (The repair guy) had said something about selling parts, possibly sometime in the future. I wounder if they would ever sell their complete circuit boards as a part. If they did I would order some in a heart beat.:)

Hi Ocie.

For the Radius, it's been awhile.

No mac update for the p3, or classic, as far as I know.

It wouldn't matter, would it? I admit that I looked for a P3 update after I found the Mac/Radius one, but then I remembered that I couldn't connect my P3 to my computer anyway.

Well, it would if you had access to a programmer, and you could use a Mac.

But, as far as I know, you still need a pc to update a p3.
