All this knife talk makes me wanna share!

Now, I can't make a knife, but I can make other things with these hands of mine.
So when I found my Grandpa's Army issue service knife (Korean War era), I wanted to honor it with a proper sheath.

I also made a belt mount for a hook, so it hangs from my belt nicely.

Then I got adventurous and made myself a "vape holster"...

It has three button snaps on it, so the cover will fit over my longest daily setup (P3 in 18350 with KF4), and my shortest daily setup (P3 in 18350 with KFL/SteamTuners Tiny cap)...and then everything in between.

Times are tough, and hours at work are low, so I'm trying to get a little leather working business going, but it's been hard. My first few builds only brought in enough to replenish my supplies.

I'd be damn proud to carry my Grandfather's Service knife... Good for you!

Thanks for all the love on my knife post, guys!!!! I know my Gpa would be proud of this creation of mine, were he still with us.

Dear HBManOfTheCorpseDude,

How do I place an order for a Radius Holster? Huh?? How?? Your mod holder is great looking, BTW!
Ya know, I've thought about that.
I don't own a Radius yet, because they haven't released the Stealth Radius yet...oh and I don't have any money! Hahaha!!!
But...the day I own a Radius, shall be the day before I start building a holster for it...
You'll see pics!
P.S. I'll have V2 of the Provari holster up at some point!

I am only buying a Radius to cure my Mod Acquisition Syndrome. ;)

I figured that once I have the best mod on the market, I won't want any others.

Let's see how that works out.:D

Judging from your avatar (SR Prestige, I presume?), I'm sure you know all about the acquisition syndrome! :toast:

Well thought out design and execution HB!
Wonder how he got his hands on this particular model. Very desirable and Rare! Usually issued to On Board Naval Personnel.
You can tell it was used a lot, and not just a Safe Queen!:)

Wow wish you still made them. They are beautiful. Would love to have a knife like that as my every day carry.

LOL! Me too, after the collector started running the prices up so high, I never could afford one of my Own Knives in later years. Now how's that for CRAZY!!!

Thank you for the kind words.
That one was a disassembly, shave down of the frame, and blade swap from a totally different model. Now resides in a collection somewhere. The one's that actually went into hands that use them are the ones that make me smile :)
Me Too! Never made them just to be looked at!

Way worse than that. It's a Fodera. I made the mistake of playing one in NYC a few years ago. I have 2 now. Pretty bad when you plan a vacation around picking the actual pieces of wood your guitar will be made of. Who needs to eat anyways? :)

I picked up a Radius this afternoon. Using it now. Great mod!

Did I miss something?

Apologies as I am new here....
New is fine...

I think though, that some of that, should be done in PM.

Hate to see ya get bounced for that.

Cheers, Jim
