I would also recommend the Beyond vape Silo. I still actually have one in my vape drawer. It was, in my opinion, much better than the nautilus. It certainly has more air control.[/QUOTE]
This might not be too bad either. Will keep this in mind. Thanks Sir Rod.

I'm confused, why are you skeptical, that model gs air is the closest match to a nautilus in airflow, vapor & taste. All the GS series can use the same replacement heads.
There are several authentic eleaf GS series clearo's,,, GS air, GS air 2, GS air M, GS air MS & GS tank, all range from $8.20 ~ $15
IMO, The GS series are the most underrated inexpensive clearo's available.
You do have to watch out for clone/fakes.

I would like to know where to buy authentic aspire nautilus heads for $8.20 per 5 pack, source please?.

I prolly just don't like that it's so narrow.

Fasttech has the coils. Have bought a lot of those from them. Authentics, all is good, no duds etc.

Oh ya i tried to adjust it. It would make contact with the coil and not fire or make contact with the mod and not fire. lol It is all good though. I am hoping the new screws i ordered will help that out. Besides that for the first time ever i dropped the glass and it shattered. lol so i have to wait for a new one of those too. just my luck. hahaha

Oh No! You're having one of my days! good Grief!

Ahh! Got-ya. I usually can find small grub screws at the hardware store, (ACE for instance). Just don't ask them for Grub Screws. That's a UK term. Here in the States they're called Set Screws. I tried the grub screw thing once, and the "Good O'l Boy" at the store said with a straight face, "I didn't Know Grubbs could Screw"!. Cured me from then on.

On the Radius, it has quite a bit of length extra. enough so, that at first, is was afraid the pin was Too long. (Which would be better, as you can always take a bit off. LOL!

Oh ya it was kinda humorous. My wife usually breaks that stuff. so you know she is running like the wind with this. I think me breaking that glass was the best christmas present she could get. lol The replacement tanks are due to come in today. I might try that pin again and see what happens, but the new ones should be here next week. I take it you got one of these? How do you like it? How does it compare to the original?

Very good quality and finish. I was impressed. Didn't expect it to be made so well!

Darn, I hit like on your post, and my usual light tremble of the hand, had me hit Like-Unlike-Like. Don't know why in heck I machineGun the buttons sometimes. Grrrrr!!! Oh, that was easy! Multi R's on a single triggger pull! See, I did it again. ggg:oops:

Try this, as having the screw in too far, can have you tighten the coil deeper into the chimney, remove the coil, screw it into the base, with the pin backed out a full turn.
Put a few drops in, and test for fire. Or if your device has it, see if it's an open circuit or not.

Don't screw the base and coil into the chimney until everything is right. Depth into the chimney isn't critical. Just coil to base is.;)

You are luck to find a metric then. I tried that once and it did not work for crap. This is why i ordered them. Found some on ebay. Got the 3, 4, and 5 mm length. I had some flat head screws that were M3 x 16 and tried to cut them down, but that was just not working for me. I jacked that all up. Since i am in an apartment i dont have as many tools and gadgets i used to have to be able to play with things. Vice grips and dremel just was not cutting it. Just could not get that length right.

@AstroTurf I pulled up this Aspire. So that looks like ego thread right? I could have them get the adapter for a provari then. That might not be a bad idea. Wonder if any of the shops in town carry the replacement heads for that. That might be right up her ally if i cant get the nautty to work for her.

Is this the clearo you're looking at? K1 BVC Glassomizer

It does have eGo threading, but they carry an adaptor. It looks like there are two different styles on the main page, but this is what the one ProVape sells looks like: 510 to eGo

Yes it was. She went with some friend to a shop and they sold her an aspire starter kit. Not a bad set up but for 80 she could have done better. Or at least add a few more to it and done better. lol She said the sales people did not help her or show her what to do or anything. Keep in mind she is blind so that might have had something to do with it. I dont know. When i saw a picture of it and told her is was disposable, meaning if it broke then she would just have to get a new one, she was very unhappy. I just want to make sure the next thing she gets will last her a long time. I know her finances are not the best.

This vendor is going out of business, so pickings are pretty slim, but you might find something useful. Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette | The Digital Cig

ETA: They are OOS of the K1, but on the info page it says it uses Aspire universal BVC heads: Aspire K1 BVC Clearomizer

They have those. A 5-pack is $10.95, but with the coupon: SALE60 the price comes down to $4.38. Unfortunately, all they have left are 2.1Ω. Aspire universal BVC Coils

Here's an example of some extremely audacious anti-vaper behavior. Last night, my wife and I went to a concert at the Starland Ballroom, a venue located in Sayreville, NJ. As we were approaching the entrance, both of us vaping on our mods, one of the bouncers (who was smoking a stinky stick) approached us and told us that we have to leave our mods in our car and can't bring them into the venue. I asked the bouncer if he was being serious, expecting to get a response about using mods to vape oil from a certain psychoactive plant. He responded that vape mods can be used as a weapon (!!!) and are, therefore, prohibited in the venue. I choose my battles wisely and arguing with venue security is an exercise in futility. As we turned around to walk back to our car, I asked "so we can't bring in a vape device, but cigarettes and lighters are totally fine?", to which the bouncer replied "Yes, absolutely."

Mind you, my wife and I are respectful vapers and would have gone outside to the smoking area to vape. I'm just shocked that I can bring my mod on a plane, but a small concert venue deems them dangerous weapons. I guess I will no longer attend any concerts at the Starland Ballroom.

Sigh. I hope that didn't completely ruin your evening, Too bad you and your wife are mature responsible adults...you might have had fun lighting cigarettes and wandering around accidentally burning holes in things...

ETA: Their venue rules state: No Large Vaporizers or E-cigarette devices
But it doesn't define "Large" or give a reason why they shouldn't allowed...I think I heard somewhere that NJ has some heavy restrictions.

Starland Ballroom :: Venue Rules

In the FAQs it says smoking is prohibited.

I’m from out of state or the country, can I smoke inside Starland Ballroom?
Since 2007 Starland Ballroom has been a smoke free facility and smoking inside is strictly prohibited.

Do you provide your patrons with a place to smoke?
We provide an outside smoking section for our patrons where re-entry into the venue is permitted. Smoking inside the venue is strictly prohibited.

This one is a bit unclear:

Does Starland allow the use of electronic smoking devices?
The use of all electronic smoking devices are prohibited from being used inside the Starland Ballroom. Any large vaporizer or electronic smoking device will not be allowed into the venue.

So, one can't vape in the venue (but maybe the smoking area is okay?), except "large" Vaporizers aren't allowed in the building.

They need to define "large." My 1000mAh Twist is taller than a mini, but a mini is thicker....

Well really i could see how a provari could be used as a weapon. With the weight of it and the durability you could wrap one in your fist and really put a hurting on someone. But if that is the case it is more likely that someone would burn the place down with the lighters than someone using a mod as a weapon.

Mature responsible adults? My wife and I? Hmmm, the jury is most certainly still out on that!

We're big fans of the two bands that were performing, so we still had a great time. I made sure to send a couple of well-worded tweets to the venue, though!

Does my battery life sound right?

.65ohm
15.0w
I am getting thru one subtank mini fill (5ml?) and the battery is empty.

And yes, the battery is fully charged(at least the blue LED is off). I am using the stock battery.

Geez ... don't know how to compare our 'setups' but my coil is 1.5Ωs, I vape at 12-14 watts, and my batt lasts me at least a day, probably 1 1/2 to 2 tanks in a KFV4.

I certainly see your point. However, the same can be done with a beer bottle and a phone in an Otterbox case.

I have an iPod Touch that I got back in 2010 and it still functions perfectly. I also have an iPod Classic that I got back in 2007. It also functions perfectly - I actually have it hooked up to the head unit in my truck.

Since switching from Android (I've owned various makes and models, beginning with the original T-Mobile G1) to Apple, the only thing that can make me even consider going back to Android is if Apple really decides to eliminate the dedicated headphone jack (it's a rumor going around in the tech blogosphere right now) and replace it with an all-in-one Lightning input. I may even try Windows Phone - that's how soured I've become to the whole Android experience.
We walked away from having "smart" phones :) The two iphones sit in a drawer, unused. Our plan is now talk & text only. I never answer my phone, if they don't leave a message, it was not important anyways. I have my wife's older hand me down ipad which seems bullet proof. I do like that device. Her current ipad gets heavy daily use for her unwinding from the workday, she just loves them. The old thumwheel style ipod she has still works fine, just won't hold a charge, the new ipods won't connect to the Bose Wave, I picked up an adaptor cord, but she doesn't like it because it looks janky, so there we have two Bose Waves that are also now useless to us. Piles of expensive electronics that become junk because of incompatible ever changing connectors. I'm well on my way to becoming a grumpy old man LOL, ;)
