I completely disagree with your post. The Dicodes website is absolutely useless and the Dani Box is at least 50% more expensive than my Radius.

Actually the Dani Box is about $10 cheaper according to an email I rec'd yesterday from a popular Dealer in England. International shipping raises it about $17.50, but ProVape only shows free domestic shipping. Pretty close price wise.

If the screws didn't come out of the base fully, it would be perfect IMO. I love the Radius, but that is the only design flaw IMO. Nitpicking, but these things ain't cheap!

I wonder whether a small oring placed around the inside of the screw could make it captive?

I already ordered replacement screws. Zero chance that I won't lose a screw eventually.

The Dicodes Dani-Box is a better buy. The build quality is better, swapping the battery is a breeze and it has one of the best boards on the market in it. It also comes with 2 years of warranty. The only reason to buy the Radius is because you're too stubborn to admit there's better stuff to be bought.

I read Hb's post yesterday, and it just did not click with me until today, and I remembered that I had a similar knife like the one he posted, I have had it for a long time, I am not positive but I think it was my dad's. It is not in great shape, but figure what the heck, I know nothing about knives.

Not in my case. I won't say what I paid for my Radius out of respect for the B&M that gave me a great deal, but it was MUCH cheaper than any Dani Box I have seen online.

Were not married And she already sold the Radius. She wasn't happy with it because it takes too long to fully charge a battery and she hated the thumb screws.

Yours is a Ka-Bar, and was also made by the Western Knife company. It's a Huter. A lot did however make it into service no doubt.
