A couple of things I don't care about are;
1) If a reply was sent via tapatype from whatever device
2) What PB's opinions are about the Radius. :D
I couldn't care less what PBs opinion about the radius or any other device is either. I enjoy watching Phil because he has a lot of personality and I like when he goes over all the features. He does a thorough job. But whether he likes something or not is nothing I care about.

Math has its place but in the real work my VT200 at 50w last all day and my Radius at 30w last 8 hours.

The VT200 has a 1300mAH LiPo, so that's 14.43WH, compared to the Radius' 9.25WH, so that's a significant difference. But, considering the difference in wattage, 50W on the VT200 should last about 7% less than the Radius at 30W. Given that the Radius is deadly accurate, I'd bet the VT200 is not quite giving you the 50W the display says it is. At the end of the day (pun intended), what matters is you enjoy your device and it keeps you off analogs.

I did look into the Roolo 200. Feels great in the hand but it is huge.

That's what she said? Yeah, it does feel surprisingly good in the hand, but the weight isn't for everyone.

part of the reason for that is the LiPo packs have a flatter discharge curve then the 18650 format, the other part is the lipo mod is bucking voltage, where as a single 18650 mod is boosting, and bucking is a tad more efficient.

True... bucking would give ProVape about another 2% efficiency. Nothing to get too excited about IMHO. Then again, ProVape engineers probably wouldn't be happy until they hit 99% efficiency ;)

I wish all this fear of LiPo batteries would go away. They are a good fit for vaping, with much higher C ratings available. If used within spec, they aren't the walking time bombs people claim......we all use them and carry them around all day every day (cell phones, etc..).

There isn't much fear from what I've seen - it's the inconvenience of not being able to change the battery very easily, if at all. You couldn't take one camping for example. At least with the Radius, you can change the battery relatively easily, and you can bring as many spares as you want with you camping.

As for the larger capacity being more dangerous, it's a given fact. It's a very low percentage of chance, but they're already enough to take planes down. Common sense tells us that the more energy you store, the more spectacular the failures will be.

Been a fun couple days vaping at 50w's. I'm gonna stop though. Personal choice. I could see where I could go places with it. I always was a heavy smoker and I just take to heavy vaping to well. I knew I was in trouble on break when I was hitting it no problem and let a buddy try it. He's a pretty heavy vaper himself and it just about choked him out. He does 12mg nic all day and the 6mg brought him down like a rhino on Wild Kingdom. And I'm just playing with it like its air. Gonna get myself in trouble.

The Radius I am currently charging the batteries "off site" and replaced the Provape battery. Much better so far.

WoToFo Steam Engine tank with a .75Ω clapton coil. Nice mild vape at 35w on boost 2.

Nice match for the Radius. Little shorter then a Kayfun 4 and alot less top heavy. And it holds 6ml.

Thanks for the side by side pic with the VTC Mini. Now I really know, how big (small) the Radius is :D

The Radius is a chucky mod for what it is.

I've got big hands so small isn't a big thing for me. The Radius is bigger then all my small mods. The VCT is slightly smaller in size but feels much smaller in my hand. I'm not actually in love with the mod butwill admit it feels great in the hand.

Smaller still is the IPV D2 in the background. Now thats a small mod. To small for me. I have the same problem with it I do the Radius, with big hands and small mods I have to hold them awkward. But for small this mod is that.

I'm guessing here because my small handed wife doesn't like the Radius (not enough watts for her) but my guess would be a Radius would feel huge in a small hand but the firing button would feel just right.

I would like to address a couple of things posted earlier.

First, the Beauty ring being stuck on the P3 and Radius. I started using something we used in drag racing with Alu. Heads and metal spark plugs. It's called No Seize. About the same stuff as what provape recommends for threading in the form of Nolox. Use it on the inner threads, and you will Never have the problem again!

Moving on now, the No Charger that give a full 1000 on a circuit. There is now one. It's available at Orbitronics. I'm recieved one a few weeks ago, and if is performing admirably. It is next to the X-tar and Night Core on their charger page.
It charges at 1A (1000 ma) per channel. Each channel is independent. so you can get a full fast charge when charging multiple bat's. Very helpful when you have more than one Vaper In the House!;) It is the ShoShine S1 MAX.

I have small hands, but the Radius feels very natural to me. It has barely left my hand today and I could easily see it being my everyday device. Especially when driving. It feels very solid and well built compared to my old Subox or my Reuleaux RX200. No loose panels or buttons for a change, which is nice.

The Radius is vaping great at 40w and 0.5ohms and the battery gauge has barely moved all day.

LOL! The D-2 in the background is so small that I can't even see it! I do like the way to D-2 feels in the hand. ;)

Its for 2 of them. I know, because I lost one. It continues to back itself out, however. At least I have 1 more spare. If I lose another one, provape will hear from me. That is a weak point as far as I'm concerned. I don't change batteries, so this shouldn't be a problem.
Edit: this an obvious observation from the high road, please don't accost me.:headbang:

Curses! I have had my Radius for a couple of months now and never had the screws loosen up on me much less come out. I read this thread, go out on the town with the Mrs. and blamoo! Lost screw. I have always charged the critter via micro USB with no reason to open the battery bay. I do a thumb check on them regularly and now this! Cursed I tell you! <flails>
