I like my tea kettle, and on rare occasion my French Press. I think those disposable cup coffee makers should be banned, and whoever uses owns them should be imprisoned for wanton lack of regard to the environment ;)
Looks at my disposable cup coffee maker while I wait for the handcuffs to come & get me! :sneaky:

Called? No way!

You know, I was just wondering, how would someone without a computer get a hold of ProVape?

Just use their Smart Phone browser? Or tablet?

Re the Bun coffee maker. After getting tired of replacing machines all too regularly for my business, I picked up a Bun. (I was attracted at is was smaller/cheaper version of what I'd used in restaurants in my waitress days.)

It must have been about 10 years before it started to leak. I went out and bought another Bun that day.

Anyone have a suggestion for a toaster? Now they only last months.....o_O

I have one of those old Sunbeam toasters from the 50's. Can't kill one of those no matter how hard you try. I suspect they are no longer available as Americans shop on price only these days...quality be damned. Just look at all the crap you can buy. As soon as it breaks just throw it out. They say technology advances are too quick to make anything of high quality. Really? A toaster toasts my bread. I'm not interested in blending milk shakes or shaving my face with it. Toast the damn bread and be done with it.

"I'm not interested in blending milk shakes or shaving my face with it." "shaving my face with it"

I actually laughed out loud when I read this. I pictured you (or some dude) shaving his face with a toaster.

Priceless.

I think a Sunbeam is what I grew up with. It developed a quirk, but still toasted great.....after 35 years. Kinda wish we hadn't put it in the garage sale now. :(
My Grandma had one when I was a kid in the 60's. And she had it forever. I think my sister is using it now. I got mine at an auction some 30 years ago. It was sitting on a the scrap table....where they put all the crap no one wanted...next to the dumpster. Never cussed out a toaster since.

Remember you just dropped the bread in the slots and it would slowly lower itself and then slowly raise itself once it was toasted?

Well OK, then. Nestle actually has a free recycle program. They send me recycle bags that hold 200 used coffee capsules. Then I fill the bag, I seal it and they pay the postage for it to be returned to them. See, I'm being environmentally responsible!

Hmmm, obviously I'm confused. Oh well. Someone who spouts off as much as I do needs to be corrected when correction is due. It was back in December I made the call. Perhaps it was Nabisco or even Morondez I called. The lady knew what factory and how many jobs were being affected.

GET OFF MY BACK ALREADY! I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE ALLEN WRENCH THING! GEEZ! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, NOBODY'S PERFECT!

:D

Oh my........did I strike a wittle nerve?! LOL The reality is your claim made me wanna see and so I saw. Google. It's a good thing! Now we shake hands, have a beer and a nice vape!

I have one word for you: Dualit! Best darn tootin toaster I've ever owned and prolly the best built as well. Not inexpensive (Provari's aren't either) but ours is going on 10 years and will likely outlive me. Here's a link to the one we have:

At $332 I'd want it to blend my shakes and shave my face too.

If'n Tearose is buying a new toaster ever few months, this one will actually save her money. It truly reminds me of the time when we bought ego stick after ego stick until we saw the light and bought a Provari. I know I would have saved money if I had just bought the Provari from the beginning.
