I just like to ponder things. All sorts of thing.

Odd thing about pondering. Was skimming through an atlas of our solar system looking for Martians, or at least something native to the soil. Instead, I find an interesting tid-bit of information about the rings of Uranus. Crushed debris spinning around a gassy giant in the outer reaches of our lil yellow star's influence had me doing nothing but giving a good hard pondering on the ways of the universe.

If you run out of , here's an oldie: If a tank truck carrying helium is found overweight at a highway scale house, do they have to put more in?

No and no pondering required, the truck is carrying liquid helium which is heavier than air.

Oh wait it was a joke, sorry.

OK light travels at ~670 million miles per hour. It takes light 100,000 years to travel across just our galaxy.

If the earth was compressed to about 3mm in diameter it would be dense enough to be a black hole.

Oh yeah I am fun at parties! :w00t:

Where did the light come from?

Woke up to this, hmmm?

I charged the Radius overnight w/ a Kindle charger. Been doing the for months now. While it was still plugged into the charger I pressed the fire button to look at the batt gauge.

The button turned red ... and an error message was display re: batt too warm. To correct remove the batt, leave cool down and insert a new batt. Pressed the button again. Same message. Pressed the button again and everything 'appeared' normal. Full batt gauge, no red button.

Took the batt out, checked on a DVM and it was at full charge. Put a brand new Samsung 'blue' batt into the Radius and plugged back into the charger. The batt was @ 3.7 volts. Thought I'd do this to test the Radius charging cycle.

Oh ... and nothing was warm, not the charger, not the Radius, not the batt that I removed.

I'm leaning to putting the original batt back in, running it down and putting it through another charge cycle during daylight hours so I can monitor the charge.

hmmm, do I continue to use the original green batt, or do I assume something is wrong w/ it? Opinions anyone? @Vape360?

edit: FWIW The charger cycle just completed, no errors on the new blue Samsung batt.
The radius has a sensitive temp monitor for charging that seems to monitor everything well. I got that error when I had it charging in my car and even though nothing felt hot on the mod, I noticed the connector on the charger cord was quite warm. Turned out to be a loose connection at the cord end causing the heat build up the mod was sensing.

My provaro Radius w/Kabuki came yesterday....wow! Pictures don't do it justice and that tank really is something special :)

I'm left handed and while I think 'left handed mode' is thoughtful of them, as a lefty, I don't find it very useful because the tank is in the way. A left handed model would probably work better but probably not practical for the company I'm sure.

That all said, I guess I need to buy one of their protective cases now because this thing needs to be used like everywhere and not just at home like I thought I might want to do.
I don't know if you really need protective cases, this Radius is pretty darn tough. I've had mine since the beginning and there's not a mark on it, unlike any other box mod that would scratch within a month. For me anyway, with the silicon cases you would lose the wonderful feel the Radius case has. Might want to try it nekkid for a while.

Thanks for the info! I work outside for the railroad and I have this horrible habit of getting out of trucks (PV on lap) and my Provari Mini drops on the hard ground/ballast frequently. I've replaced my R2 Jwrap on my Mini a few times already but the thing is built tough and only faint marks on the end cap.

That said, I ordered a mini length leather holster from Provape to use on my P3 which hasn't arrived yet and perhaps as extra protection for my Mini too.

I plan to get a leather holster for Radius as well since I've been too worried to take it to work. I'm just in too harsh of an environment, I'm too careless, and yet I do like my stuff to be in pristine condition. At least I'm not worried about breaking it and it's why I spend the extra for a tough American made device though. :)

Two years of abuse and my Mini works perfectly and I expext no less from the Radius.

I bought the silicon sleeves- one of each color. If you asked me where they were I couldn't tell you. The overall feel completely diminished with the sleeve.
I think they do serve a purpose tho- for people in grimey environments that need the added protection.

I'm wondering how everyone is feeling about their choice of color on their Radius after a few months have passed. I personally love the Radius, it's by far the most durable and nicest box mod I've ever owned, but...

Sigh... I'm bored with the Onyx Black. It's like owning a Cadillac when you're a sports car kinda guy. It's nice, but it's just a little too staid for my tastes right now and I'm wishing I had went with one of the other choices. So I'm wondering if anyone out there bought one of the colored versions of the Radius and are experiencing a lack of thrill with their choice as time goes on.

Anybody else feeling like they made the wrong color choice? Wanna trade?

I wonder if anyone else is stuck feeling like they made the wrong color choice so I put up a thread in the classies to see if anyone else feels like I do. I apologize if we're supposed to keep the classifieds a secret, but it's only a trade offer so I thought it might be OK. Feel free to delete my post if it's wrong.
I got the Cabernet red with the bronze metal and I don't get tired of looking at it. [emoji7]

I have a midnight blue. I like it, but it's understated. To me it looks black or dark charcoal most of the time. If you're bored with the black, I doubt the blue will tootle your puffer.

Nice. I adopted too early to get the customized versions. Much more interesting options available now, and that's a good choice you made.

I had an original onyx black but it was flaky and was returned to ProVape twice. They were nice enough to let me swap it for a Stealth which I love.

If I did it again, I would still go Stealth as I love the finish and doubt I will get sick of it.
