Well if it makes anyone feel any better, I have to wait a bit on the Concord Grape, too. Like until we get out actual tax refund and the bill for our property tax, which goes up every year.

I picked up a few of the new 18650 3k mah batteries from Provape. I'm working on day two with my Radius at 8 watts without a recharge. I'd call that a good battery indeed.
One of the best. The only thing I don't like is it gets hot when recharging. Not too hot, I guess, but pretty hot.
Huh, I did not notice that at all when I charged them. Weird.
Does your charger let you control the rate?
Mine does, and since I never NEED the battery back right away, I charge at 0.5, and nothing gets warm.
Cheaper charger might go at 1.0 and warm 'em up, which isn't TERRIBLE, but is an unnecessary strain on the batt.
Or some chargers just automatically split - they'll run at 0.5 if you're charging TWO batteries, but faster/hotter if you're charging just one.

It's USB charging on a 500mah block. The radius internal charger will accept up to 800mah.
Gotcha - I figgered since you said it was hot, that it was in a charger, not USB.

No, it's not just you. Charging is a pretty regular time to have a thermal event, if you're going to have one.
When I say hot, I mean hotter than the Radius charges with the 25r in it. The HG2 is kinda known to run a bit hotter than average. I'm not freaking out over it, but it is not something I like. The battery life is phenomenal at my wattages though.
I actually really like the ghost white. I have two of them, a stock one and a custom. FWIW, I don't think I would like them nearly so well if they were solid white.
The only thing better than Ghost White would be clear.

When at home I swap batteries in my Radius, only time I use the USB is when traveling for convenience, and traveling is rare
