I'm guessing it was due to the FDA, to get the product out there while they can. So no, not mad because I don't even vape at 40W on the one I already have.
I think 60W will get them an incremental increase in sales to those who 40W wasn't enough for.
I doubt many, if anybody who bought a 40W already really cares about the 60W.
I vape everywhere between 12.5W-75W, so most everything works for me.
I like variety.

They don't want anybody who bought the 40 to get angry.
Fortunately, I'm not one of them.
I bought my 40w Radius in Dec or Jan, so I am cool with the new wattage. I wouldn't be if I ordered a Radius last week though.

Not sure why even a bit of notice or preorder for email or "club" members can't happen. Almost everyone else does this.

Yeah, last week could aggravate a person.

So, let me get this straight:

ProVape is charging an extra $20.00 for a software upgrade to 60W?

That is pretty lame ProVape.
If it as just a software update, they would most likely just roll out the updat like the others.....in guessing there is some hardware tweak involved

Be nice to see that confirmed.

But if that is not the case, it's shady to say the least.

And if it is the case, how are they going to handle updating going forward?

They need to change the name if they are changing the hardware imo.

Not that it affects me: 40W is more than enough power for me.

It just seems to be a lame way to go about it.

I'm from the UK, going to Florida in September, does anyone know if it's possible to have a provari delivered to my hotel?

I would save a LOT in customs and postage costs, this 60watt update is a nice improvement as I do occasionally go over 40 Watts.

I think Provape might have a bigger announcement before the Fda kicks in in 3 weeks time. Fingers crossed they have something special as a last hurrah

Here's hoping.
ProVape: The P-Infinity [Moderated] the FDA edition. (erm, I meant to say- power supply/battery holder, which can be used for almost anything, but obviously not vaping nicotine).

Yes, you can order a ProVari to your hotel ... I've heard of others doing that.

Cheers bud, unless there is a vape store in Florida that sells them this will be my best option.
Dude, I am Canadian and when I travel to the US on business, my hotel is like a UPS depot.

Most hotels allow 5 free small shipments and will hold for weeks for registered guests. Just ship to hotel front desk attention GUEST "your neme here".

I have had Provaris shipped like this 3x.

I'm throwing @FringeChief68 in this convo cause he does the same. I think he's had more stuff shipped to hotels than he does to his house. :sneaky: Love ya Fringe!!!

I work in Fort Lauderdale. You can ship it to me and I'll hold for you. No joke.

That's a bloody good offer which I may take you up on, thank you ;)

I'm going to.... You guessed it Disney World, first time abroad, heck first time on an airplane I'm bricking it although I have been up in a 2 man glider it can't be as scary as that... Right? o_O

Typically the pound is the weakest to the dollar it has been in decades just as I'm off to the USA.

If you have some time, and extra $$$, you might want to consider Universal Studios as well. Or, hop on over to the gulf coast (my neck of the woods) and check out Bush Gardens. Years ago, a friend brought her daughters down to FL from NY, and they enjoyed Bush Gardens much more than Disney.
