Just outside the door, under Buying and Selling, there is already a sub-forum for Classified and Swaps. I believe we can start a thread there. But it still isn't as convenient as one would be in our own forum if we had one. But until then, that might be the best bet. Would just have to occasionally post a link to it here.

I took a chance and ordered one package of Menthol Burst cartos tonight (along with some Rye 4 liquid and Cowboy cartos-all in 18 mg). I'm looking for a Mint flavor. I never could stand Menthol cigarettes, but I have a Mint liquid from another vendor which i really like. If I don't like the Menthol burst, I'll be willing to trade for some Rye 4 or Cowboy! Since I'm in Ohio, my order should be here Wednesday or Thursday. I'll try to report back on the Menthol Burst.

Good deal thefox. Now you should try them on a Volt battery -- not sure what your "standard" one is, but if it's an older model you'll find these work even better on the newer Volt design.

Note to Imagine: please make check payable to Starsong, that's S-T-A-R.....

Starsong - hi. Yep, that's exactly what I plan to do now. My battery is the older style with a lower mAh rating. My present pcc only charges one batt at a time so I've learned to live with this, but the time has come to upgrade. However, a couple of questions (perhaps best aimed at SteelJan?)....I'm assuming the 65mm batt is the 220mAh and the 78mm is the 320mAh? Obviously the 320mAh will last longer, but the equation is battery charge life v battery charge time. If I buy the standard pcc (which charges one batt at a time) would the 320mAh batts be the recommended choice? How long do they take to charge and couldn't I just upgrade the removable pcc battery to a slightly higher rating to cope with the 320's? I do like the mega pcc as it takes a few carto's too and would probably go for 2 x 220 mAh batts because of the charge time (I tend to perma-vape when I'm out!)
Apologies, I'm sure these details are on the forum somewhere, but am I on the right line of thinking here?

Please tell us what you think of it when it arrives. I'm really curious about those menthol flavors, and I, too, would prefer a mint flavor, just like you. I might order a 5-pack of RY4, which I like, just to trade one for your menthol so I can try it for myself. I know I could probably vape the rest of the RY4.

OK, here's a question. So far, I've used prefilled cartos, but I might want to try different flavors. I tried someone's cinnamon and really liked it. So how do I go about filling cartos? I suppose to start, I'd wait till I used one up that I already have and then refill it w/ e-liquid. I've seen so many ways to clean them and fill them that I'm totally confused. I need one way, the simplest, to do this. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Maybe SteelJan has a video about an easy method? What other supplies would I need to buy to do this? BTW, I have automatic batts, which I like, but I think if I'm careful, I can fill cartos and use them w/o getting liquid into the battery. But I need advice on how to do all this.

PMs work for sure. I was just trying to come up with an idea to help a 'request for a trade' post from being overlooked -- lots of folks don't care to read back more than a dozen posts, so it might get lost among all the other topics. But hey, it's worth a try :)

The battery needs to be bigger than 1000mAh if you want it to charge more than 2-3 times on a 65mm battery and more than 1-2 times for 78mm batteries. It needs to be about 2000 - 3000mAh. This shouldn't be as big of a change as what you're already asking.

Poor, poor meddog... all she heard was wonk, wonk wonk wonk wonk. It's like Charlie Brown's teacher. I just don't get any of this. I wish I was smart.

I think it was about 3 days and i had a replacement and sent them my defective battery. And to me that is very quick as they do not give you a runaround like some company's do or slow to ship. everything Si has shipped to me i have got in 2-3 days

And that, right there, is why I feel comfortable recommending SI to anyone who will listen... and to some who won't.

I'd say SI ships quickly! I just ordered some bedsheets, and they will take 5 to 7 business days to get to me. Meanwhile, I have no sheet that fits my fat mattress. I'll just have to try to stretch my smaller fitted sheets over the mattress. Why did they decide to make the newer mattresses fatter? Now I have lots of fitted sheets that don't fit the bed.

It was a collaboration between the textile industry and the bed companies so we would all have to buy new sheets.

Some people could follow your video and do it, but I'm not mechanically inclined. My big feat would be replacing the battery with a new one made for it!

One thing I like about SI's stuff is, when I got my starter kit, I could figure out how everything worked. Not like the very high-tech but nightmare alarm clock. I still have to figure out how to set the alarms. I think I have everything else figured out except the iPod dock and how to work the iPod from it -- oh yes -- the remote control -- I have yet to try that. I keep putting it off because things like this are scary for me. But I refuse to be one of those old fogeys who can't use anything new, either. So I fight with myself to master it. Still, I don't want to have to put that much energy into a PCC when the small one seems to work well and be easy to figure out. I wouldn't do it. I'm basically content with my little PCC and hope it will serve me well till a new, improved version comes out.

I think that there is a very good point here to be made. Someone posted that we hadn't left enough reviews on the SI site. I think I need to talk about the ease of this with noobs more than I do. I know that some very good devices are being recommended. I don't deny that, but for a starter, or go to PV, there just isn't anything else like this. It's frustrating for me because I did start with something else, and it was a very difficult experience. So maybe I should go hang out on the new member forum.

I agree they are making alarm clocks way to complicated anymore. And i consider myself pretty tech savy especially with computers. But my easy fix for that was to download a alarm clock program for my computer which is very easy to use set it and turn my speakers up pretty high .Works great but my neighbors probably hate me as every morning at 730am it blares out Time warp from the Rocky horror picture show as my alarm . with surround sound and my sub woofer it gets pretty loud lol
My son has one that has a piece that goes under the mattress (the one I had to buy new sheets for because of the conspiracy, but that's another post). When the alarm clock goes off it makes the bed vibrate. He's 18 so you can imagine the comments about it.

What's the difference between Ice Menthol and Menthol Burst? I was thinking of trying one of these, but I never really liked menthol cigarettes, so I don't want to get both. I was hoping for more of a mint flavor than a menthol cigarette. Any suggestions? I'd also like to try Classic Grape, which everyone loves so much. And maybe a whole pack of Chocolate, too? And maybe some colored caps would be nice. Trying to decide ...

Chanting:
grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, grape, gra... ummmm .. wait.
You don't want any grape. It's terrible. You won't like it... It's all for me.
