OMG those are gorgeous!!!!!! My hubby thought I was crazy when I asked him for an ammo box:)

I agree, that's an awesome collection all nice and coordinated. I really like the gold (hint hint!!) So what "green" juice flavor will fill that spot? Too bad there isn't a Mint (hint hint!!!)

Welcome to my world :p
I've gone thru 6.9 and 7.2 and numerous ones less than those. I always get nervous when there are more than a couple - Japan, Virgina, Ottowa. I keep thinking one plate will bump into ours and Calif. will have the next.

Here's your "on the scene reporter" from about 85 miles North of the earthquake epicenter:
The walls of my house shook for a number of seconds.
We almost never get earthquakes here, and those we do get are so minor they are rarely even felt.
It scared the CRAP out of me!

I've always wondered what it was like to feel an earthquake. Don't think I'll need a re-run in this lifetime...

to keep the size inline with the current slider...this design will only charge one at a time, but it will charge them fast about 2 hours for the 65mm and about 3 for the 78mm

Charging one at a time is fine with me. I'd like to be able to get 2 full charges on 78mm batteries. I don't store batteries with a carto attached, but it would be nice to be able to put cartos in the case with the 'booties' on, which can't be done right now (the top won't slide shut over them). Ideally they'd have their own slots, but I'd settle for putting them in the 2nd battery slot. As Vapian said, the clamshell design was fine for thickness, plus you could carry 2 cartos with the booties on.

But if the only real change here is just a better internal battery, then I'll still pass and wait for another design.

Looking for a food dehydrator now - would like to know they are completely dry in a timely manner for obvious reasons

Thanks

get the kind with a top fan if you can. I made my Frankendehydrator with a cardboard box, aluminum foil, an old desk lamp, and a little desk fan. It worked fine...but a "store bought" one looks a lot better  I clean 25-50 carto's at a time, and they dry overnight. I just like knowing there's nothing growing in the filler....

I don't clean my cartos very often, I tend to get stuck in a rut and vape the same thing for days and weeks because I'm too cheap to open a new carto, I just keep topping them off! I've got one with a thinner, clear liquid I've been using for 3 weeks.
When I do clean them I dry them standing on end for a while, and then toss them in a strainer I have hanging up in the garage and just leave them for a couple of days. It's so hot and dry in there it works like a charm! Probably not so much for those of you in humid climates....
Speaking of which, good to hear all of you in the eastern earthquake today are doing fine, Oregon is looooong overdue for a really big quake or volcanic eruption, we sort of just live with the expectation that it's coming any day now. Starsong, I'm sure you can relate!
And now the bad news:
my red battery died yesterday. I don't know how it could have happened, it was dropping off and due to go on the charger and the carto was run dry and needed topping off, so I took them apart, dropped the battery in my little pouch, grabbed a fresh one, topped off the carto and went about my day. When I got home from work and went to put Big Red on the charger, no light. Took it off, no light. Drew on it, no light. It is showing all the signs of a dead switch, I don't know how I did it but I was really attached and it figures the first one I kill would be the new one

Here, there, everywhere!

Well I was telling my husband about the dehydrator and he told me to turn the oven on warm and put them in it for about an hour and then just turn it off before i go to bed leaving the oven light on. He never helps me with this stuff so I was kinda shocked at his input and the fact that he allowed me to have the oven on for my ecigs. Woo Hoo!

And yeah - I worry about things growing in the filler too. I just need to get an ultrasonic cleaner - walk away, move to dehydrator - walk away:)

I just cleaned a batch the other day and it worked great. Found a youtube video and followed along...

I have a syringe that has an odd looking plastic end that a carto happens to fit in perfectly btw. $3 at CVS.

First i put the cartos in a bowl and poured boiling water over them and let it sit for 20 minutes.

Fill another bowl with boiling water (poured from the electric kettle, not still boiling in the bowl obviously).
Insert carto into plastic end on syringe. place end of carto in the clean hot water, pull on the syringe to flush water through.
Turn and empty syringe through carto into sink.
repeat 4-5 times per carto.

Blow out each carto until no more water comes out.

place in baking dish and "bake" at 175* for 2 hours.

fill and vape.

worked for me!

yes actually discussing that now...good question for you and steeljan....what do you think the correct output current should be? it is currently under 200mah at 5v...trying to get the exact number now.

That depends on how fast you want the batteries to charge. At 200mAh at ~4.5V a 320mAh battery should take right around 2 hours to charge and a 280mAh would take about 1.75 hours. At 150mAh charging current it's about 2.5 hours for the 78mm and for 65mm about 2.25 hours.

Personally, unless it compromises the battery's design characteristics I like the idea of charging a battery at as fast a rate as it can take without overheating. So, if your batteries can take somewhere near 200mAh for charging, that's what I would shoot for.

Even so... If it has to go lower for some reason, anything under 3 hours charge time for a 78mm battery would do the trick.

I am having soooooo much fun with the new contest! I love "trying to do poetry". It is just fun!

I am just bummed that my first one the Names didn't stay bold and colored - made it look neater, but can't change it now or I will lose my likes:)

AND - I bet you're having a lot of FUN - especially since YOUR post have been really Great ! View attachment 50913

Just as an FYI: View attachment 50912 Actually - I changed a couple of my post, because I caught a couple of the usual spelling mistakes  I make after posting . . . AND nothing happened to any of the likes I happen to have gotten  . . . View attachment 50910 Don't know if the same will work for you - but I bet since it is "YOU" it would be alright View attachment 50911

Not to get off-topic, but i'm feeling Ripped off by the EARTH! I live north central PA and lots of people felt it at my college, but I didn't feel anything!!! Jerk Earth...Lol

I guess I was just too happy vaping here on my end. And blowing up enemy tanks in a video game, now that I think about it...thats why it felt so real...hahaha j/k

Oh and i'm using a drip tip with my Volt and i'm enjoying the vapor amount much more than with the rubber end (kinda restricts the full effect IMHO). I'm LOVING all flavors from the Sweet Sampler package :)
