They're called MAOI
Now, in cigarettes they are VERY low dose, but they're there.

Thanks for sharing this! It is interesting. They put so much crap in cigarettes.

it is not on the agenda at this time... maybe sometime in the future... or maybe a fat batt
Just keep putting out the cool, awesome, pretty, fun, funky, fabulous colors and I'll be happy!
hint-hint
Lime green, lime green, lime green.....
I'm procrastinating on studying for a big test tomorrow, can you tell?
That's a good idea. Some folks like batts with a longer life between charges, especially those whose daily lives make charging inconvenient.
I personally don't like the fat batts. Some background, which also ties in with your very good description of vaping: this is my second attempt at vaping. The first time I had a Joye 510 w/carts and didn't know much about juices. After a couple of months I began smoking again and just vaped off and on. Then this May I got an eGo-T and some good juices and did much better. A month ago I got my Volt system and I love it. I'm getting more satisfaction with it than I got from the eGo and I love the size and performance of the Volt.
I'm still fighting the 'mental' addiction. While using the eGo I smoked 3 cigarettes a day, no more no less. Since I got the Volt I am down to 1 or 2 and some days none. I wasn't able to just quit like so many do. I'm fighting this battle in my own way and it's working. One day soon I will smoke my 'last' one.
) when you need it most as well as the information you need.I'm new to both this thread AND ECF, and no offense to all you ladies here,....but why all the chit chat on this thread? I am a guy, and maybe I just don't get it, but shouldn't this thread be more for informational purposes instead of, "Hi, how've you been?". 171 pages since May, and from the 10 or so pages I've read of it, there's a lot of........."fluff"....to wade through. Once again though, no offense to all you ladies.
Cheers,Cosmic
Anyone have thoughts on the new Freedom flavour? I tried it for the first time today and could not stand it. I can't even describe the taste but it is something that I can see myself avoiding in the future.
What worked for me was when i ran out cigs i just stayed home and vaped and vaped....saying I am not quitting I am just not gunna smoke today ... And the next day the same thing ... Just said to myself u can always go buy a pack but let's play a game and make it a challenge to see how long u can go.... Now it been 3 years almost![]()

Did they not know that ecig's exist at all? Or had they heard of them but didn't know what they were?
I don't get a craving for the T-cigs and I don't enjoy them anymore, not like I do vaping. Weird, isn't it? It's a completely mental thing. I'm elderly and starting smoking when I was fifteen. Giving up that lifetime 'ritual' is what's hard. I didn't smoke at all for two months during my first attempt at quitting with vaping. Now with an excellent ecig and good juices I know I won't go back to smoking. To a former 2-pack a day smoker, one or two and sometimes none a day is not smoking. It's just my way of getting the habit of the 'ritual' out of my system. I don't know if that makes sense or not.
[/QUOTE]Good advice but Volt stays at a constant voltage, right?Vapes the same from beginning to almost the end for me.
So like a freshly charged batt nearly all the time.
When you say in the center do you mean in the little tube? I thought you were not suppose to get any juice in there. Been vaping for 5 months and I'm STILL a dummy.
QUOTE=Imagine;4110842]also a few tips:
when in doubt chain vape vape vape till cravings pass
try a pass through.... like the first hit off a freshly charged batt every time
drop 1-3 drops of menthol or lime/citris e-liquid on the center of the carto ups the throat hit a lot!
Speaking of chemicals, can you please advise as to the nature of the adhesive that secures the bottom of the center tube to the bottom of the carto tubing that covers the wick?
This is not particular to the Volt but to all cartos of this construction so I don't wish to make it seem like I'm singling out Volt. This adhesive is not used in any other type of carto but these are constructed differently. Past horizontal cartos had the wick centered and the cover likely did not need to be secured. These are on the very bottom.
Thank you for any insight you can offer Imagine.
Hey Neo,
The adhesive should never make contact with the wick. The adhesive is just used to secure the silica tubing to the bottom of the carto so it stays put. The wick is secured into place higher up in between the silica tubing....with the little silver (excuse my reference) .... plug (which is wrapped in a silicone to prevent leaking....the wick does not make contact with the silicone either)...
Both the silicone and the adhesive are made with a non-outgasing materials...so in case the wick was to ever shift for some reason.. they would should never burn or produce an outgased chemical.
I would say 99.9% of the time you do a carto autopsy and take it apart.... when anything looks brown or even black it is discoloration (like anything containing color would do to white material over time) from e-liquid sediment (from the parts of the juice that are not vaporized) ...that is why clearer/thinner juices will extend the longevity of a carto...as they produce less sediment ....and keep the atomizer and filler materials cleaner and debris free for longer.

Thank you. That is a straight forward answer with no beating around the bush.
Can you give us any information as to the exact type of adhesive used?
Burned up juice sediment is normal on and around the wick. When you autopsy them, that can be easily discerned.
I have not seen burning/warping, etc. of these materials but, as you say, if the wick should be out of alignment for some reason, the adhesive and silicone will get heated. So this has been of concern.
Thank you again!
the silicone could possibly... the adhesive would be to far down to touch the wick ..if it did it would be broken and not function....
I will confirm the ingredients with china tonight...and get back to you... I forget off hand.
It has been my experience that you will always get a straight answer from Smokeless Image.Thank you again. You are very forthright and that is appreciated.
And then BAM! The nicotine hits you like a Mack truck! That's how you work out your timing. I had to just accept that this delivery system is much slower, and that I'd have to be a little more patient, hang in there, and weather through the withdrawal symptoms at first. But it doesn't take long before you get the hang of it, and are exactly where you need to be to satisfy your needs.
I don't even remember what smoking was like anymore. I just started school again, and until they can figure out what to do with me (the only vaper on campus), I've been having to hang out with smokers. PHE-EW! The smell!!! Now, THAT'S something I don't miss!![]()
