We BOTH forgot the caramel....which I have....hummmm

Hmmm...lets see...
banana, strawberry/vanilla/chocolate ice cream, fudge topping, whipped cream, walnut topping, cherry on top...
might be worth a shot, since I haven't liked any of the banana split juices I've tried.

Yeah - My mint should probably arrive Monday. Can't wait to try it. When I dropped the analogs over two years ago, I steered clear of any flavor that even remotely resembled a menthol cigarette - just to avoid temptation. But after all of this time I find that I'm not even tempted by analogs anymore. Mint should be safe to try now.

Chocolate is another flavor that just didn't quite pull my wagon when I first got it. Within the last week I re-discovered and bonded with it. To me, it seems like a Tootsie Roll chocolate more than cocoa. I LIKE Tootsie Rolls! :)

Really? I think the flavor is more dark chocolate than Tootsie Rolls. Of course, they aren't as milky as milk chocolate, but still ...

Thanks so much for the well-wishes, everyone! This thing is really hanging on but I've gotten my sense of humor back so I must be on the mend -I am hearing that the whole county has it so I'm not alone. I have a fresh 30 ml bottle of gooey butter cake that I can't taste, it's like the world's biggest tease just sitting there waiting in all its golden glory.:p

the verdict is in from next door, by the way: it's classic grape for neighbor guy!

I recently came down with a cold, too, and then my shipment of the Strong Sampler arrived. I'll wait till the cold is over so I can taste it properly.

I was in another thread and saw something quite amusing that a poster by the name of "OttoBaun" posted there . . . And with their permission (since they are the OP and the person who found it - they should be given credit) . . . I think since it is so quite here, I am going to post it for everyones enjoyment (it's one of those SI late night things) . . .

As "OttoBaun" stated in their original post:

"Didn't create this (obviously) but have a feeling you'll be tapping your toe and smiling before it's all over with nonetheless (and that IS the goal).... Yes, they're for real.. Enjoy... :) "

AND - the original version for anyone that is interested: Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (High Definition) HD - YouTube

EDIT: P.S. IMO - For many reasons this song and video are very appropriate right - NOW ! ! !

What a great video! Thanks for sharing, Uncle.

Here's my :2c:
Get the one that has 2 batts at least. Get the shorty automatic and the 78mm manual. And get a sampler pack of carts with the kit. Then get the 2 sampler packs you didn't get if you can. Believe me, you will be surprised at what you will like and what you won't to begin with. Then it will change the longer you use them! :vapor:

Someone else will have to tell you about the charger packs. I don't have one. :(

Is the dongle is a charger with a cord that connects to the battery?

Well, it finally happened: you know how I like to poke used, dying cartos with a pin to get them to work again? Well last night, I poked a little too hard, and POOF, out pops the coil on a couple of them! Oops! Oh well. Time to experiment.

Whoa, charcoal briquettes! I thought they were burnt, but I think they're just encrusted with almost two months worth of crud. Yeah, I could just throw them out after that long, but figured it would be nice to find a cleaning method that's actually effective in general, if I'm gonna continue to clean them at all.

So, since this blackened coil is what really needs to get clean (the batting is easy and won't necessarily bring a carto back to good working condition), I tried soaking it in:
  • Vodka for 4 hours: No effect. Still hard as a rock. This is what I've been using. Obviously, it ain't working!
  • Rubbing alcohol for 4 hours: Same thing.
  • Dawn and hot water for 2 hours: wow, the fiber thing that the wire is wrapped around completely cleared up at the ends, but it's still black and hardened where the wire is wrapped around it (bb got a little smaller though). Maybe soak a little longer. But it would be such a pain to rinse soap out of a carto, what with all that batting and all! Hmmm...
  • Sprayed one with Easy Off: crud's completely gone, but yeah, like I'm really gonna clean my cartos with Easy Off! Too young to die.
  • Soaking in a denture cleanser tab now (thanks, Rave). One hour so far, and no effect (still hard and crusty). We'll just let that sit overnight and see how it goes, cuz I had high hopes for this one...(works great on my french press though)
  • E-liquid that I didn't like...they put PG in soap, right? Must not be not one of the active ingredients, cuz it ain't doing a damn thing! ...yet. We'll let that sit next to the denture tabs.

So what I'm thinking is to approach it like I'm trying to clean a baking pan with really nasty burnt/hardened/baked-on sugar, cuz that's pretty much what it is, right? And it's not like you can get in there and scrub it off, so it would have to get clean by soaking. So the trick now would be to find the right solvent that won't kill me...hmmm.....hydrogen peroxide? vinegar?

Try hot vinegar. It gets off the mineral deposits my hard water leaves. Maybe it'll work. Hot vinegar definitely works better than room-temperature.

Twilight Zone
Wonder what lemon juice or citric acid would do to the crud. I've seen waitresses use lemon to clean coffee pots by soaking them all night.

This is the kit I'm considering? Which of the charger options are the best? Also if you have any other suggestions feel free to throw them my way.

Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt - Pro Starter Kit - Starter Kits

Thanks
J

That's what I got, plus a wall charger -- Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Volt - USB Wall Adapter - Accessories -- and another sampler, because they only had 2 samplers at the time, but now they have 3. I chose the slider, which was the only charging case available then, and I'd recommend it.

Woot Woot, I placed a order. First time customer, first piece of equipment ever purchased. I hope I like it.

I have said MANY times before....wish I would have found this setup first....would have saved me ALOT of money!

Good luck and WELCOME to the insane asylum!
