Thanks, Keelala and everybody else for the kind wishes, our empathies to Mom, and man are you right about bad timing; we live in a tourist-driven, sort of remote area that shuts down right about.......now, lol, not the time to be looking for work! But he's really good at what he does and he's one of those guys everybody likes so here's hoping he can sweet-talk his way into something......

Me, too, but apparently, you get more than one chance at putting on the skins. I never knew this till now, and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable about giving it a try.

I doubt if she would have used them this time though unless he persued it to a disruptive point on this thread, which he may have had he not wound up in the "Sin Bin". No sense in engaging in a battle of wits with an unarmed person I guess and I'm afraid I almost fell into that trap. It won't happen again though. The ignore feature is my friend.

Me too - they would be a great addition to the petting zoo my office is becoming. ;-)

Best part is - now I don't have to worry about fuming them out with my ikky smokes. (Finches are especially happy with that.)
