I wanna hear the word RAIN! We've had under 2" of rain since the beginning of April. Broken all our records for drought and high temperatures, more than 90 days of over 100F degrees. Wild animals dying of thirst and hunger, abandoning their young, trees and grass all dead or dying, rivers and lakes drying up, crops dead and blown to dust in the fields, even drinking water for humans is getting scarce. Weather folks saying we may continue this drought for another 18 months. It's turning into a desert in central Texas.

I'm so sorry to hear that - must be heartbreaking to see. Have you had the fires there as well?

Thanks. I tried Darkstar's instructions before getting to this, and I got it to work! I may not be the most adept at this stuff, but at least I'm willing to learn.
Yay SandySu & Yay Darkstar!!
Nice looking horse SandySu - and very aptly named (Penny).

Thanks for the compliment, Rave. She is very dear to my heart. This past Saturday, I moved her to a new boarding barn, and she is pictured there in the pasture (I took the photo Sunday, after a night of hard rain and wind, so she looks a little bedraggled). She is still adjusting to her new surroundings. You can see we don't yet have many colors on the trees like your photo, but maybe later I can show off the fall foliage we get here -- if it ever stops raining!

I always wanted a horse. Now I have the land for it, but not the mobility. Does she have other horses to keep her company?

Yes, the owner of the barn has 4, and 2 more are owned by another boarder. The horse she's in a pasture with now is named Willy. He's an old guy and very gentle with her. There may be another horse added to the mix soon, but the barn owner is taking it slowly so there is no fighting among them.

Ok just placed a third order withen a week, another starter kit for a friend, a sampler pack, a pack of blank cartos, 2 bottles of juice & a extra battery. At some point I hope They will throw in a freebie of sorts, another sampler pack or something lol. Atleast a super repeat customer freebie, or Im gonna have to slow down.

Also I wasnt a option when choosing batteries in the starter kit but can you send the sealed batteries instead?

Anyhow - someone else here was looking for a soft rubber tip that would hold the weight of the PV recently. Since I can't remember who, when, or what (if anything) that person found, you may have to wait awhile for that person to see your post. I did a search and didn't find it. *sorry*
Was it this one, Rave? Sweet-Vapes Drip Tips
I don't use binkies, but these are supposed to fit nice and tight - enough to support the weight of a PV ...but mind you, these 2nd gen KR808s are a little heavier than the old ones. But then again, I don't use them and I have all manuals, so what do I know? No bling, no swirlies. Just boring binky colors.

If you have trouble with the link (again), try starting at the home page, click yes, I'm 18, Hardware, then Accessories...or clear out any malware in your computer...
...they also have the best Blueberry Cheesecake I've ever had (you can taste the cream cheese and blueberries, not sour milk like the others). :)

Wow, I've lived in the city all my life and can't even imagine what it would be like to live like you and Rave!
...but then again, I'd probably be itchy, what with my allergies and all...I get hives just jogging around the park!

A contractor buddy of mine just got MEDIVAC'd to the hospital. Sent him 2 manual batts and a 5-pack of RY4 and a separate 5-pack of 555 to use in the hospital.
He'll live, but it's going to hurt for a while. A lot.
Luckily we utilize the same medical resources that the Emir does so he literally has the best docs in the entire Middle East working on him.

SandySu your horse is beautiful wish I had had the time to see her in person when I was up there visiting but I did get to meet you! Just wish I could get up that way more often so I could have time to do more than see all my relatives!

Maybe next time. You'll be back this way, won't you?

I recently read that a horse-owning human tried spirulina for allergies. I heard it helped horses, but apparently it's good for humans with allergies, too. With horses, it works better with respiratory allergies than for skin problems, but it has had some moderate success with skin type things like hives, too. You could give it a try. Spirulina is a type of algae, I think.
