The newsletter at the bottom of the SI homepage says I can't use someone else's email in order to sign up. Soooo, I guess I must have already signed up and forgotten. (wouldn't be the first time lol).

Uma...sign in on the website and try again.....I got the same thing, then I logged in, tried again, and it went through. I thought I had signed up before, but never got anything. So I figured I'd try again...and I got an email confirming subscription.

I agree in theory - but how many of us have come to this thread to ask a Volt question, and then stuck around because it was so much fun here and you made friends with existing Volties? Would that be as likely to happen if there were separate threads? I'm afraid we would have less newcomers that stick around if we separate things in such a way. I dunno - just my thinks messin' around.

I agree. What we have really works for a complex combination of reasons, and I fear if it was significantly broken up, we'd lose it.

Ya know, I brought up exactly the same thing a couple of months ago, but somehow, Imagine and a bunch of other people brainwashed me into thinking otherwise. I think we can still make it happen though, and who knows how much longer the wait will be anyway!

Yes, there's a "contest" -- though everyone wins, so it's not really a contest. If you post a photo of you using a Volt, and the Volt logo on the battery is identifiable in the shot, then you get something free from SI. As extra insurance, I stuck an SI business card in my pocket, just in case the Volt logo wasn't clear enough in the photos. The logo is sort of small, so it's hard to get it to show up. I also used a white battery, thinking the logo would show up better on that color. How can you pass up free stuff? Get your photo taken!

Miracle of the day: Believe it or not, I set my auto jewel colored LED Volts aside this morning, and plugged in the manual PT. Nice!!
Note to self of the day: While playing Black Ops, be prepared to remove automatic Volt from lips quickly after each encounter with an enemy. I like vapor, but to a limited degree!

Good idea, and fortunately I have low nic juice on hand and will definitely rig up the cartos with it before playing again.
Any remedies for the massive vapor I choke on? I try not to inhale... but... how can I let it go to waste??? lol.
