Thanks!! Even though I have sealed batts I cleaned around it with a toothpick and tissue like in the vid and black stuff came off...eew. My poor volt just needed a bath!
How often should I do this?

Janie, I've heard some people clean after each use, some every week, some every month and so on. I think it's an individual call. But, if the battery doesn't seem to give a good vape or there is trouble charging, cleaning right then would be the first place to start.

Hi! I just wanted to say that I wanted to link you to the video and I tried hard but I couldn't find where it was last night or this morning so I couldn't share it! I'm glad Retriever was able to find it! Here is a post by cindycated explaining to me how to clean the batteries:

I found out poking those little holes are important. I was about ready to discard an older battery I had because it wouldn't charge. Poked those little holes with a pin and it charged right up.

We'll see how these work out for my allergy.... But I must say I love the draw on theses so smooth. and as I remember it I was filling other's cartos way more often then this. <3 U SI!

I have never had an issue when i have traveled and I even got random selection through customs in the Dominican Republic recently and I said cigarellos es electronico lol and they new what they were....and I had 4 bottles of 30mls of juice too this was my checked bag mind you.
That's not to say that there is no way there will be an issue...but they have usually at least seen the before.

Hi guys. I just have a quick question (and I cant seem to find an answer when I search), I bought some Kanger cartos awhile ago and quite a few of them do not work on my Volt batteries at all. No fire/heat whatsoever. Has anyone had this happen and maybe know of a fix for it? The ones that did work are ok but not as good as the SI ones by a long shot.
Well, I dropped a C note at SI this morning. I am confident that this will be the right choice for hubby. Now, I wish I'd waited a couple of days, so I could've ordered the USB charger at the same time. Drat. Thank goodness Laura saved the day and I will have a USB charger waiting when the SI order gets here. ECF people are just the best ever.
I'm really, really hoping that this investment will give him the incentive to move to PVs full time. It breaks my heart to see him smoke.

yeah they are not as good even the horizontal ones KR makes

I got some 808 from another supplier from a contest I won and while they work - they just aren't the same - they have the wire up the center.Poor Imagine - i say all the problems you have had just guarantee when it comes in it will be the best product ever

does he have a brother? nephew ? seems like a great guy you got there...he will get there with the smokes... try not to push even lovingly..instead give incentives like his favorite meal for using it or remote control privileges... whatever works..
