Many a debate about this and most opinions fall into one of the two main popular definitions:

From urbandictionary:

1. "Somewhat derogatory term used by Australians when referring to anyone from England. Slang interpretation as Prisoners Of Mother England. Referring to the transportation to Australia from England of convicts considered the dregs of society."

or

2. "....or pomigranite - a reddish coloured fruit that native Australians (Aboriginals) thought had a similar colour to the skin of sunburnt Brits.
Not meant to be an insult (as some English think for some reason), merely a nickname for our less-tanned former rulers. Nicknaming everything is very Australian."

Also found this: "A British person - or close equivalent to the species. Specialise in inventing sports and timing themselves on how long it takes before all of their former colonies can defeat them at it. Spelt P-O-M: the "Prisoner of Her Majesty" explanation is an urban legend, as is "Prisoner of Mother England", the other version of this common myth."

The cheeky wags. :D

Wow! Great answer! Thanks. And I wasn't so far off when I had "pomegranate" in mind, either. Little did I know.

So I have been trying out mods for a little while, and decided to come back to Voltville. Hope I'm still welcomed here. :)
.... Didnt even notice u were missing :p
Hehehe

reptilr,

Thank you very much for that info. I've been having thoses problems for quite a while and never realized it could be vaping vg. I use 100% vg in all my flavors.

Did it also make your scalp dry and flaky? Never had those probs till I started vaping.
Thank you again for the heads up.

(sorry, no smileys, I've not been feeling very "fluffy" lately)
Hi 2tone, no never the scalp, just my cheeks area and some parts of my body, It took me many months to work out, even to the point of gradually elimating and re-introducing foods/ liquids into my diet to rule out other factors. But the breathing problems happened as i was vaping & only with those higher vg juices. Which was a real shame cos i loved that suppliers flavours. I tried thining with pg but i just couldn'nt get past the taste difference, so i stopped alltogether.

Haha never thought of pomeranian... Giggle
Hey megabee. Where abouts are you, send me a pm if you like and as soon as my empty bottles come in this week, ill send ya some SI liquid, that way you can compare :) i have classic grape, watermelon, cherry, ry4, cappucino and i can spare a carto or two of freedom & vanilla :) but as fox mentioned fsusa in higher pg should be fine. With any juices of a higher vg content is always tougher on the carto.
Yay another aussie to play with... Hehe okay so i got my photo's up

The person wih the battery problem... Um first try another carto to what you are trying currently if that makes sense. If you havent already. It may just be the battery itself, try screwing the carto onto the battery on with room that you see the little holes( not all the way down) sometimes this works. I have one sealed that does this too me also. So i cleaned everything, batt post, chargers, but i think its just the battery itself. Sometimes i works sometimes it just has a hissy fit. & contact CS maybe they will help ya out.

You won't zap your batteries by plugging the hub to the wall (lots of built in protection in there). I wouldn't plug it into a PC - that might be too much of a power demand on your PC. Don't get the Mickey one - the ports are too close together and the USB chargers won't fit - you'd probably only get to use half of the ports.

Thank you :)

Do you mean you yourself smell better (not like cigs), or your sense of smell is better? Either way, both are true!

Yeah, I guess both of them! That smell on my clothes was really awful!

Omg you know I'd love to try them!!! But I will take this to pm so we can exchange details because I insist on paying for postage and I will send your things back when mine come. I don't want to buy more 510 cartomizers I'm just too frustrated and I would have to get adapters to keep using sub standard cartos on the volts if I bought more now. I'm like in limbo between gear lol

This is the first that I've been able to go anywhere without a giant mastiff face in my face. I was able to sneak off while Lexi is snoozing in the bedroom. I wasn't able to get the doggie that I showed in my original pics. Evidently his foster mom freaked when she realized she might lose him and decided to adopt him herself! However - the rescue shelter that I've been working with had an underweight little 2 1/2 year old who's been shuffled around from home to home. Dave and I braved the Indiana road system during the snow yesterday (which is reaaallly brave! The Hoosier State doesn't usually have a lot of funding for snow removal or plowing). It took us about six hours to get to her, meet her, fall in love with her, get supplies for her, and get her home. Without further ado - This is Lexi and my son Dave:

Sorry for the blurry pics. She didn't want to hold still!! So far, she's an absolute angel, and just wants to please. She does have separation anxiety though, and won't even let me go to the john alone. Scared the heck outta me when she tried jumping up on the bed to join me in the middle of the night. But when I asked her to get down, she did reluctantly. She just seems soooo sweet.

Hopefully, I'll be around more now, and be able to field some of the questions from newcomers. Welcome New Volties!!

Should I try some kanger cartos? Is there an Aussie vender who supplies kangas?

Truthfully i've only tried the mega kanger carto's and they dont last the distance like volt carto's. I can pm ya some vendors anyway but i'd save those pennies. Pm sent :)

Ohhhh look at the big pupppy!!! Rave congrats on the new member of the family. Gorgeous dog!!
