YAY! my grampa (smoker of 60 yrs, PAD, hes 78)
Is 2 weeks quit using the volt.
We got ours the same day in the mail together, And he said hes stopped couging up gross stuff every morn and night!!

Thanks all -- but my Vet status happened on Jan. 1st. But yesterday was my 1 year being smoke-free. A much much much bigger accomplishment, worthy of celebration.

I just don't hold it the same. It was instinct, I think. I don't know that I've ever tried to hold it like a cigarette, but if I did in the beginning, I must have discovered the most comfortable way to hold it fairly quickly, since I don't even remember it being an issue.
OK, I just tried to hold it like a cigarette. I think it's not so much the weight but the feel, mostly that it's fatter and the surface is firmer.

Oh, I know. That storm was kinda scary and loud. Had me sitting here thinking "Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
And yeah, I too get crazy looks, and the occasional stalking, from cops. To the point where I have to keep it on the D/L when they're around now. Sucks.
You're right about the feel. What I've always liked about the e-cig is that I don't have to worry about crushing the filter if I hold onto it too tightly. I find that I tend to hold mine like I would a pen. I'm going to add the comfort tips to my next order to see if I can use them to hold the Volt between my teeth, like Wuzznt does. It would be nice to be vape hands-free when I need to.
I thought I heard thunder last night, but that might have been the strong winds.
Yeah, I've been expecting them to pull me over and barrage me with questions. So far, that hasn't happened. When it does, I already have answers. Agree, it sucks.
LOL going to show my nerdness.. bleargh is a word an 'imp' made.. it was a small monster from an online role playing game from years ago.. Everquest 1 lol... Everytime you killed them, they said bleargh. LOL.

Im so accustomed to popping on here and finding 1 or 2 online it was a nice surprise today too see so many little green online stats.!!
Make me happy to hear. My gramps was a pipe smoker all his life, he made it too the ripe age of 100. ( stopped the pipe at around 80yrs) Sometimes i wish he knew about these devices before. I was unfortunate to be half way round the world from them and only met them 4 times. I sure do miss both of them.
I have however addopted a new grampy at work who visits me once a week for a chat n giggle!!

Just wanted to give a update on my Volt experience. Whats yours?
Since June of 2011, I have been vaping the Volt exclusively with SI's flavors and cartos and have to say it's been the best experience I've had with any electronic cigarette. In the beginning with SI, I have cheated a couple of times with a eGo, I'll admit. lol! Since June, out of all the batts I have purchased from SI, I finally have 2 batts that are dying / getting week and are ready to be replaced. That's nearly 7 months later! Can't complain about that at $14 a pop!
I vape most of SI's flavors and still, as most here know, the 555 is my most favored vape and I cant see any other flavor taking it's place.. but that's just me and trust me,..I've vaped a ton of diff flavors from MANY diff venders and there are few out there but.........
Before SI, I use to make my own nicquid and vaped big batt mods etc.... had a lot of fun with that too! Sometimes I miss it BUT!, SI has all that I need or want. Except for drip tips damn it! I need more drip tips
