So good news!!! Finally!!! NEW PCC's were delivered today!!! YAY!!!!

They will be up on the site sometime tomorrow :)

As a thank you all for your patience we have decided to put them on sale for the next few weeks to be the same price as the slider $29.95 !!!!! they will ultimately retail for $34.95 a better price then expected!!!

We apologize for the lonnggg wait. If we would have ever thought it would take this long to bring them to market we would have never announced it so early. Thank you all for hanging in there!!!

Again they are 2200mAH replaceable batts
65mm width
20mm height
115mm length

(slider is 1000 mah replaceable battery:
65mm width
15mm height
115mm length)

It can hold:
2 65mm batts and 4 cartos
1 65mm batt, 1 78mm batt and 4 cartos
2 78mm batts and 3 cartos!!

Slider's will be in again hopefully within the week.

Battery restock and carto restock on the way!!

Thanks for the specs, Imagine. One question, though. Will it hold batteries with cartos attached? I'd like that, since I don't want to have to screw one on every time I reach for them to vape. I have mostly short batteries but one long one, and it'd be nice if that also fit with a carto attached, but if the short ones do, that's good enough.

Overwhelmed, Rob (my hubby) is quitting slowly. He's down from a pack and a half to 4 or so a day. So, don't be discouraged! You're doing a great job and have your goal in sight. Think of all those nasty chemicals that you are already banning from your lungs. Those 2-3 smokes will be behind you soon!

Thanks so much, I did read about your hubby and thought he and I were the only ones:) So glad he is doing so well, does he also have days where it doesn't seem quite rewarding as others? Today is one of those days for me. I mean really, 24mg should be strong enough, but, I just can't feel it today. Tomorrow will be better. He is lucky to have you pulling together with him. I wish him luck.

Oh, trust me - he struggles. This is a guy that really loves smoking. I don't think he ever planned on quitting. I think having a world-class Oncologist look him in the eye and tell him that he is fighting very aggressive cancer because he smokes and that he HAS to stop, so his body can rally for the potential surgeries and treatment that he's looking at really hit him in the gut. So, now he struggles with the pragmatic, logical part of his mind that KNOWS he has to quit vs. the more emotional part that says "but I WANT to!!!" It's been really tough for him. This is a very tough addiction to break, Overwhelmed. Don't feel like you're the only one out there struggling. I am OVERJOYED for those folks who can do the switch immediately, but there are plenty, plenty, plenty that have to take the long road. There's no shame in that. The important thing is that you're DOING IT and that this is the best overall method to help you.

Sending hugs and much good luck,

Good morning all

I have read through many of the 1659 pages but not all of them. It seems like most people start with their pv and totally give up smoking on day 1. Is this correct?
I smoked for 45 plus years, at least a PAD it more like 25 a day and even though I am loving the Volt I still feel the need for 2-3 smokes a day. I have been using the Volt since January 13thnand still can't say "I quit smoking" and it's very frustrating. Did anyone else slowly wean off this way or am I the only oddball in the mix?
Appreciate opinions and suggestions, I am using 24mg..I have some 18mg but they are not cutting it accept for the menthol burst on occasion.
Thanks for your help
Overwhelmed

Any way you cut it, 2-3 analogs a day beats the heck out of 25! I still haven't gotten away from the analogs completely (after 4 1/2 months), but they are few and far between.

I smoked a few analogs when I started vaping. The best thing that happened to me was winter weather last year...we had a rough winter and it didn't take me long to enjoy vaping in a nice warm house instead of going out on the deck to smoke:) Hang in there.....it gets easier every day. Also...be ready at about 3 months I had the strongest cravings for analogs but didn't go back...just worked through it. When I had my worst cravings at first I vaped the most analog flavor and highest nic I could get my hands on. Over a year down the road I prefer the fruit and coffee flavors.

ok for you Laura :)

Keep in mind we haven't photographed the finished product ...this was just the prototype. The lid will not have black on it ...it will be completely see through....in colors: gray, blue and purple....

It is the same length and with of the slider ...it is just 5mm higher/deeper.

It has a 2200 mAh removable battery.

It will have a lift up/pop up top.

It will charge 1 battery at a time...

The battery pictured is the 65mm :)

The black open hole on the bottom left is where the LED display is...

The screw you see exposed is not in the final version.

AND WHAT I THINK IS SUPER COOL...YOU PUSHING DOWN ON THE LID WHILE IT IS CLOSED TURNS THE BUTTON ON :)...NO NEED TO OPEN UP THE PCC

Found this, from awhile back...
Looks like it'll hold one shorty with carto attached, and another non-attached shorty or 78mm in the shorter slot just below it (I'm guessing that's where it gets charged?).

Ahem. In the interest of scientific accuracy, and because I am insufferably ...., I would like to clarify that the MAOIs found in tobacco smoke occur naturally from the tobacco leaf itself. :)

We now return you to your originally scheduled programming. :D

Please stay always .... ;)

As usual - you are another one that always makes "My" DAY ! ! ! :D

from our web master: "USPS API has changed slightly. We had the same issue last year, but it was a bit more drastic. They decided to change the names of the shipping methods which caused USPS to return that it wasn't a valid amount. First Class International seems to be the only one that has changed and therefore is not available at the moment. We'll be getting this fixed asap. :)"

Hey Imagine, I would like to make an order for the pcc in the next couple of days, but there appears to be something very strange going on with the delivery costs. I type in my London postcode and it gives me two options which are both around $40.

Will this be sorted anytime soon?

Thanks.
Found this too, from a little while back...
When USPS hiked up their prices yesterday, they changed all the names around of their shipping methods, so right now International First Class (the cheaper one) isn't coming up as an option. They're working on it though, and the price difference from what it was before should only be around 2 - 5% more.

Yeah, I'm a research dork...got your back, Imagine! :)

One thing that I fond helpful was to stay ahead of the cravings. If I waited until I wanted a smoke it was usually to late and I couldn't get enough nic fast enough. I fond that If I used it it before the cravings took hold then I was better able to handle it.
Every one is different, don't feel bad if it takes you awhile. Just keep moving forward and you'll get there.
There are so many other things in cigarettes besides nicotine that your body is use to having.
Every one not smoked is a success. It sounds like your doing great, you went from PAD to 2-3 a day. Be proud, that's a huge leap forward! :toast:

Overwhelmed, I agree with crbrown. Don't beat yourself up if you feel you've just got to have an analog once in a while. We are all dealing with a powerful addiction. Some of us quit easily, some weaned off gradually (you are not alone in that). I think you're doing great.

You know at first my hubby complained that the office at home stunk from the juice........I think it smells like great air freshener myself, others as well think it smells great. Finally just told him I was going to give them up and go back to smoking then. He looked at me and has never complained about the ejuice aroma since:)

I do still smoke but nothing like I used to. Some days I smoke more, some days I smoke one.........I still feel like I am ahead of the game!

I find that so interesting, Laura, that your hub complained about vaping odor. My DH has never smoked and he hates the odor of smoke. The other day he and I were out in his car. He stopped for gas and while he was out of the car, I vaped (unbeknownst to him). He got back in the car and never said a word. I guarantee you if he had smelled anything, he would have said so. I wonder if some flavors have an odor and some don't? I have asked my daughter and she swears she cannot smell anything when I am vaping.

Yes, we need to keep reminding new people about that, and of course its fun to see everybody. The deal is, if you post a photo of yourself using a Volt and the logo shows up, or if not, if you can display an SI business card in the photo, then Imagine will send you a gift. I got a bottle of chocolate liquid, but I think you can get a pack of cartos, too. I forget now if you could get a battery. Can someone refresh us on the rules?

I can smell the odor of the flavors, but it dissipates very quickly. I haven't noticed any flavors smelling more strongly than others. How strong it smells may depend on if you are vaping in a closed-in room or out of doors. The more ventilation, the less odor. Maybe cars have a lot of ventilation, because the other day I was in my friend's car, and I wanted her to smell the chocolate, so I took a few good puffs. She couldn't smell anything. I do notice that the chocolate doesn't smell as strong since I added some fresh liquid as it did in the prefilled carto. Even so, I can smell it in my home office, where I usually vape.
