I'd love for the wraps to be in stock by Valentines Day. Otherwise, I don't want to wait for them.

Yes, I hesitated to use tape or anything to stick on because I thought it might start to peel and look bad but still not come off neatly. So right now, I'm going to visit Michale's and see what kinds of pens they have. Silver sounds like it'd look nice on the black, show up well, and go with any battery color.

With my terrible handwriting nothing will show up well on cartos

FLORIDA PSA:

Just checking - Did EVERYONE in Florida VOTE TODAY ! ! !

I gotta go do it myself ! ! ! Local stuff on balot :)

Back Later :D

Sure did. No local stuff here though. Just the primary.

78mm is 78 millimeters... or 7.8 centimeters.... it is the length of the tube on the battery without the threading or the ash cap. The cartos are approx 40mm and the width of both is approx 9mm

:p

The width is a little bigger than 9 mm. When I saw this I tried to stick it down my 9mm barrel but it won't fit.

Hi everybody!!! :) I hope you're all having a great day!! i haven't had time to read through any posts yet but I just wanted to share an idea with you!!! I think that it would be great if we all (who haven't already!) leave comments on SI for the products that we use and love! The reason I'm bringing this up is because I was just there and was checking out the blank cartos, which I use a lot of and saw that only 8 people have left comments so far!! We know how amazing the cartos are but when new possible customers come to the site and check them out they may not think the product is very good because only 8 people left comments about them! i'm going to do that now! :)

You know Sandy, I just remembered something! Places that sell Art supplies have liquid pens-like a cartridge in the pen's center filled with a liquid-that come in gold, silver, and some other colors. They are mostly metallic, and permanent. Metal-flake inks flow that must be allowed to dry about 30 secs. before touching. They are very beautiful inks, and are permanent. Used a lot by artists for various crafts. Maybe you have a local Michaels? I wish I could remember what they are called exactly, but it's been a few years since I needed any so don't have anymore of them. But they might work, and are fashionable too ;)

Yeah - I use the gold and silver for signing limited edition prints. They aren't meant to hold up to the punishment that we would give them. I swear by the Brother P-Touch that FishmanTx posted a link for, but as SandySu says: It's for PC's.

Thanks for the headsup and the label maker recommendation, Fishman. :) I'm glad I didn't order those pens now.

Yup, I decided I REALLY liked Ravens PV collection, especially the label graphics, so I'm off to the "Amazon" to bling up my own. Besides, seeing as I'm a technician for Ma Bell, I need the labeler that "they" won't get for me.

Do you mean comments on the SI website?

http://www.ptouchdirect.com/ptouch/new_pt1280rf.html

or at Buy . com: $24.37

http://www.buy.com/prod/brother-pt-1290-home-office-simply-stylish-labeler/q/loc/101/211822365.html

Or this One . . .

Brother PT-90: $29.99/$14.99

http://www.meritline.com/newsearch.aspx?SearchTerm=sonic+cleaners

Also for those who might be interested, I noticed a couple of different types of lablers both to attach to your computer or use alone at 3 different Office Depot & Stables Stores on Clerance sales they are having right now. In addition I have seen them at a couple of thirft stores like Goodwill.

Mertline . com site also offers many sales on a number of items that many ECF buy from including a Sonic Cleaner that goes on sale very often for about $19.99 (but is $29.99 right now) Meritline.com,sonic cleaners

Hope this Information Helps . . .

I noticed that too with my fat little non agile fingers!

One observation about the new PCC...

I'm having a little trouble taking the battery out of the charging slot (the one closest to cartos). Gotta get your nail in the end and pry it up carefully or it falls back in, or just dump it out. Probably only an issue with a 78mm.
I compared this to the slider PCC and the difference is the slot divider wall doesn't go all the way to the end, so you can grab easily from the side. On the new one the slot wall runs all the way to the end. There is also a notch right about where the old pcc slot wall ends. I wonder if they meant to cut there and forgot?

the slider and the mega are the same length and would have the same issue with the 78's you have to just flip them to the side and the battery will swing out...

I pointed out the difference between the slider and the mega that made the slider easier - the charging slot wall doesn't go all the way to the end on the slider, giving you access on the side to lift it out. So no, I don't have the same issue with the slider.
I also pointed out the notch in the mega right where that ending should have been.

I don't understand 'flipping to the side' -- if I turn it on the side to "dump" out the battery, everything else come flying out too.

Guess I'll just get the Dremel out and fix it myself.

p.s. - thanks Gormadoc, glad to know I'm not alone. :)

Ha, ha! If it had fit, would you have tried to fire it?

It'd be the first Volt battery I could say was shot.

Hey Wuzznt, didn't know you lived in Fla. I grew up there!!

Good evening all Volties! I have had the sleeping bug lately, so I have been asleep. Don't know if I am trying to fight off a bug or what. Hope everyone is doing well. :)

Yup. Beautiful East Central Florida, center of the universe. What part did you grow up in?

OKay so I am lovin this banana from ECBlend. Even better than the Dr Pepper..... OMG did I just actually type that? lol Well I noticed a couple hours ago that the battery was getting kinda low. Hmmmmm Okay for me that is a bit odd because 1 can go 2 days on 1 charge. Okay so I also notice at about the same time that I am kinda jittery. THEN I realized that I have been suckin on that dang thing all afternoon. OOOOPS! lol 18mg nicotine is gonna be way to high if I am gonna be vapin that much. So instead of just cuttin back on the vapin....... I just ordered some more banana at 6mg. :p

Just glue a small piece of ribbon at one side, or under the carto next to it, and set the battery on top of it. Then you can grab the tag end and lift. I have't looked carefully at the pcc it just sounds like it would work. I have to do that on some of my models.
