welcome

Usually a tooth pic and q-tip with a touch of alcohol....not to much where it will drip onto the battery is what i do..

here is steel jan's video on cleaning :)

What is the recommended method for cleaning the threads on the charger and battery?
If you go back to Imagine's post above (just click on the little blue square with the arrows next to her name) and the next few after that, you'll find a few methods that we use. On the USB charger, you just have to make sure that there's no film of dried-up liquid obstructing contact, and also scrape off any crud that might've built up in the groove between the post and the threads. That's how the q-tips, alcohol and toothpicks come in handy.

And Fanifox, I think you're OK with your power source, since everything gets down-regulated to what the battery needs in the circuitry (i.e., in the hub/wall adapter and in the USB charger). Now, I've never had to do this with a Volt batt, but when my laptop batt life gets shorter, I run it all the way down, then wait about 5 hours before charging it up again. Sometimes Li-ion batts need to be reset so that they can remember how long they're supposed to be charged for...something like that. I've been using the same batts since July with no problems, but mine are all manuals, for anybody out there troubleshooting...
Another thing I read somewhere else about Li-ion batts is to not leave them on the charger for very long after they're done charging (like 8 hours max). This shortens their lives too.

also with anyone needing to return a battery for a replacement... they can always buy a new one and when we get the old back we can just refund you... if you do not want to wait for a replacement :p

Thank you very much Imagine but I do have a small question:
returning the battery for checking will probably cost if not half of the batteries value, at least a certain amount of USD. This shipping cost will not be compensated by SI, or is it?
We heard that there is a chance to receive a return envelope from SI and return the defective battery in it, thus avoiding shippment cost. Is it an option?

Well, mine were automatic sealed 78mm batteries...

Based on the warranty that you mentioned, do you know how many days it is?

BTW What is SuperBall and why I keep hearing about it all day?

A SuperBall is a rubber ball that us Americans buy and play with all day once a year. It is a tradition that was started many years ago, and it is a lot of fun! :)

Proposed 70% tax on e-liquid and hardware in Hawaii, bills like this often set the precedent for other States.

It is in everyone's best interest to take a minute and fill out the short form in opposition to this bill.

Pass this on!

Damn, I gotta start reading the papers. This is the first I heard of it. Thanks for making this known.

LOL I did change it up at one time and just got for a little soul patch to be different.. lol but was too high maintenance lol.

Nice picture :)
what you've got is the only way I like seeing a beard/goatee. Can't stand it just sitting on a chin with no mustache. And don't like like the ZZ Top look either. (ahuh huh huh huh)

ok maybe just my stupidity but i cant find anywhere to put a coupon code when ordering...

It's on the shopping cart page before you ever proceed to checkout. Had the same problem on my first order lol. I'd have thought it would be during the checkout process too. If it's stupidity you've got plenty of company.

Love the class photo Rave! (What a pretty lady you are!) All of you look so nice, it's nice to see the pics because it helps to put a face with the user name. Wuzznt has nice silver hair and a regal look. :) The devil face is awesome too, lol! Glad to hear the batteries might be nothing but a few bad apples. I expect mine to be here this week and hoping for the best. Lol, I'm an optimist at heart, so will go with them being just fine! :)
On other fronts, my beloved Patriots lost last night....one big collective 'Awwwww' from the gallery here? :(
