Just a hello from a long time lurker, recent ECF member and lover of Volt. I took the big step off of analogs Sept 2011, with a new volt starter kit in my right hand, and a palm full of sweat in my left. So far I have never looked back. That is HUGE for me since I once smoked up to a pack and a half of nasties a day for ummm.. 30+ years. So far, I haven't had to adopt out my kids, quit my job, kick my dog, rob a Quick-trip and still have my sanity. With some of the money I am saving I think I should buy some stock in chapstick, and bottled water because it seems I am always thirsty and my lips are always chapped, but hey... I am still smiling. :D

Welcome Pale!

Wow - HUGE accomplishment! Congratulations!!!!!!!

:toast:

Guys, I've got good news and bad news.....
Good news?? My VOLT kit has arrived!!!! I'm so excited!
Bad news?
I won't even get to see it until tomorrow afternoon!
Anyone whose read my older post can note I have at least a 2 mile ride to my PO, as they don't deliver to this rural road. My hubby got the slip from our box this morning, and brought back to me, but due to him having to leave early, he couldn't go by the PO and get it, nor will he be able to pick up tonight. So, I'll have to get it after my classes tonorrow! I'm dying to wrap my paws around it, and now I know it's in town, but I still have to wait!!! :p

LOL-I do, but I couldn't leave anyways,....my dad is an invalid, and someone has to be here with him 24/7...so...I'll have to....wait! :(

No neighbors who might do an errand for you? I'm sorry to hear you're so isolated, though, like Rave, I bet your place is beautiful being way off the beaten track. Any pictures to share?

welcome to the thread everkill
Hello fellow volters,

Just wanted to say I got my Volt starter kit last week and its awesome. I took it into work and my co-workers loved it so much that 5 of them asked me to order kits for them within 5 minutes of me showing them. So I placed an order for 5 kits last week (and some extra goodies for myself) and when the shipment arrived today at work it was like Christmas. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome, I went from vaping by myself to having 5 of my co-workers vaping with me and with the same hardware! Now we can trade cartos, exchange thoughts on manual vs automatic, hax0r our Volt cartos for dripping etc...

My gf who doesn't smoke (but chews on EVERYTHING) also really likes it and I got a kit for her to. She has no interest in analogs and she goes with the 0mg nic. TBH I think she just wanted one because she saw a pink one with a white led + diamond cap lol

we are still on the waiting list :p

I was just wondering what happened with your petition for our own subforum. You may have answered in-thread Megabee, but I haven't found it yet, as still reading through old sections of this verrrrryyyyy long thread, as you say. (THis quote is from the end of January, beginning of Feb., where you were talking about requesting us subforum)

the forum made the rule a few years ago that they would only be allowing 80 subforums for vendors at one time....so someone has to drop off before they allow a new one... guess they did not want to have 1000's of em to MOD
I don't understand about the waiting list thing. Seems to me there shouldn't be a problem in adding another group. :(

Thank's for the warm greetings everyone, this is truly an amazing community to be apart of!

A quick question: I've seen a few posts regarding some sort of picture contest involving the SI logo but I haven't found the original post. Can someone tell me more about this? I'd read through the thread myself but I'm at work and this thread grows at an incredible rate, hard to keep up!

It's not a contest, since everyone who enters is a winner. Take a picture of yourself vaping a Volt. The Volt logo on the battery has to be clearly visible. If that's not possible, display a business card or the Volt logo on the box. Post it here so we can all see your face and say hello. It's fun to see everyone. Tell Imagine via PM where you posted the photo. Also tell her which you'd like from SI: a bottle of liquid, a pack of cartos, or a battery. She will tell you more about how to get your prize.

To my understanding, you need to post a picture here of you with a volt vaper stick, a volt logo that is readable, or a volt business card, carrying case, etc. Something that clearly says 'VOLT' and has your sweet mug attached. I'm new, so there may be more stipulations, but I think that's the basics. I'm sure other members will be able to come in and correct any mistake(s) I may have made. But get out the camera and post one up here in this thread, and call 'Imagine's' attnetion to it :) Then you get a free battery!!!
Go Everkill!!! (PS: Everready????) :p
