Oh boy! We decided to skedaddle for four days and just DRIVE, had a great time, just being together and letting worry take a back seat. Then, it took me two days to catch back up on all the things that got behind while I was gone and so I'm SIX DAYS behind on the SI thread and see I have some 80 odd pages to read. OY! 
While I'm working on that, I figure I'll give you a Rob PLUS update. The Vanilla cartos I got him are a straight-up HIT and he's down to only a few analogs a day. We're getting CLOSE! He doesn't like a strong throat hit, so he vapes only 12mg on his all-day vanilla vape, so to cover the stronger cravings, I filled a blank carto with 20mg Cafe Coffee, from Vermillion River. He really likes the combo, so we're really on a roll. Yay team!!!
I just made my FOURTH SI order in as many weeks. I'm sure I"m putting someone's kid through college. LOL We've been spreading the love, too. Anyone who notices his PV gets the full sell. In fact, I just today made the offer to SIX of our family members and close friends who smoke that if they promise to make a serious, dedicated effort to quit analogs, Rob and I will purchase each of them an SI starter kit to help them along. Maybe they'll be joining the thread soon!!! I really, really hope so. Cigarettes are poison. I'm afraid for them.

my personal opinion is 2 things
1 we get used to the smell like we do our own perfume or cologne
2 I think it might have to do with toxins clearing from our tongues / mouths...

It didn't sound negative to me!
But I'm pretty careful w/the cartos, always adding a few more drops...sometimes every couple hours, If it starts to feel even a little hot I put it down and go to another. And with some (like vaporite extracted juices) I drop a drop or 2 of atty flavor eraser/cleaner (got this from vape the Rockies and saw it on want2vape, but suspect it's just PG) down the hole that goes into the battery part to help break up any clogs about to happen...and I have many to switch out with.
O... M... G... I am the dumbest person on the flipping PLANET! You're not going to believe what I did. I was all excited about this order that I made today - I was going to use my POINTS for the first time! Yay me! I JUST realized, after spending 55 Volt points, that I could have used the flipping Valentine's Day Sale coupon code that I got in my email!!! What an A#1 Super Dork. Ugh. :::sigh::: Well, I made my case to the very nice CS guy and he said he'd ask "The Boss" if I could switch from points to the coupon. I asked him to plead my case - heck, I've made 4 orders in 4 weeks. That should count for something, huh? They, obviously, have zero obligation to help me out. I'm the numb skull. Wish me luck. Dang.

Congrats on the hubby too-mine is in love with cinnamon, and is doing quite well. He says he loves the feel of the Volt in his hands compared to the other e-ciggy we began with. That in itself is a big part of the battle-his comfort zone. I think he's going to stay with this. Also wanted to say what a sweetied you are for doing that for whole family!

I got them, and I'm happy. I would have preferred a mix, but I have plenty of prefilled cartos that are all black, so I do have a mix.
My first take on the chrome cartos: I filled them with some new juices and vaped just to see if everything was OK, not vaping at length. They seem to work fine, just like the black ones I have. I noticed no difference or decrease in performance. I've heard they can get hot if you are chain-vaping. That probably won't be an issue with me, since I tend to treat them more like cigarettes -- vape for a little while, then put them down for a little while, then go back to them. However, if it becomes a problem -- and I only puffed a few times for each flavor I added, just to see if everything was working OK -- they didn't get hot, but if they do, I have those nifty black rubber drip tips to protect my mouth. They feel wonderful and I'll probably use them regularly, but when I was switching cartos a lot and trying a bunch of different flavors in a short time, I found them just enough harder to insert that I got lazy and went with the end caps that come on the cartos. I'll use them when I'm not switching around a lot, trying different juices on the same battery, etc. Don't get me wrong -- they are not hard to put on, just that they take an extra 3 seconds over the end caps.
On to the write-onable carto skins: I got one pack of 5 of these, and tried writing on them with ballpoint pen. It smears easily. I didn't even handle it that much, and it was smearing just replacing the condoms on the carto (BTW, the condoms go on very easily over the skins on the chrome cartos). I would not recommend using ballpoint pen to label your cartos, if that's what you want to do. The surface is slick, and something that bonds with it would be better, but what? Has anyone at SI tried different things and found something? I guess not, since you are all probably frantically still getting orders out, but it would be nice to know what works to write on them. Producing these write-onable carto skins in a more matte finish might help.
So, that's my up-to-the-minute review. Now to try the label maker and see how that works on the chrome cartos. I ordered clear labels with white printing, expecting black cartos, but luckily they sent me a free pack of white-with-black-printing labels, too, so that's what will be loaded into the machine, and the clear with white can wait till I get some black cartos.

In case you do, be sure to have a filled carto of banana at home and a spare battery, fully charged. If it's charged and not used, it will stay charged for a long time. I don't know how long, but has anyone set aside a battery and had it run out? How long did that take? A year? Besides, having a battery and carto at the office and one at home sounds easier than having to transport them back and forth. That is, unless you want to vape in the car on the way to and from work. What I do is keep my batteries and cartos in a PCC (the slider) in my bag, which goes everywhere with me. No forgetting that!

You've still got some time for the sale! Order them and call CS to specify you want the chrome cartos, and they may be able to accommodate you. I think they are an interesting change from the black ones. I still have to use them a lot and see how they might be better or worse on a functional level. I really don't care about the color (both black and silver match most anything) as much as how they handle.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but Imagine and SI are awesome. Less than 24 hours ago, I asked Imagine for stainless steel cartos and now 3 lovely boxes are already on their way.
I wonder if it could be something in their flavors that you are allergic to?
